PS2.  Has alot of JRPGs.

It was the Golden Age of JRPGs in Playstation 1 - Playstation 2 Era.  PS2 plays both = WIN/WIN situation.

Playstation 3 Handsdown.

Like at first Xbox 360 was really good when console first came out.  But around mid way through the years.  Playstation 3 is defiently the winner when it comes to exclusives and JRPGs.

Heck even now,  Xbox 360 hardly gets anymore games on their.  But Playstation 3 been dishing out and importing alot of JRPGs.  And is not slowing down >.>

Xbox. and Gamecube,

Morrowind made me buy the console cause i couldnt afford PC to play it.  but it also had alot of awesome exclusives.  I did buy all Gamecubes i wanted later on and play them on my Wii now. 

But Xbox had some very unique exclusive games.

1) Morrowind
2) Phantom Dust
3) Yager
4) Breakdown
5) Kingdom Under Fire series
6) Panzer Dragoon
7) Halo Series (Halo 2 i played the most in college)
Conker
9) Crimson Sea
10) Old Knight Republic Series
11) Jade Empire

That just to name few.  Very different very Exclusive Games,  You couldnt find anywere else.

Gamecube did have also game as well

1) Paper Mario
2) Twilight princess Zelda and Windwaker
3) Mario Kart
4) Lost Kingdoms
5) Fire Emblem
6) Luigi's Mansion
7) Tales of Symphonia
Baten Kaitos series
9) Eternal Darkness
10) Pikmin
11) Skies of Arcadia

Both Great Console but both different depending on style or preference of games.  But i got to say Xbox is my choice.  Because Gamecube was lacking of games.  On Gamecube total is maybe 25-30 games i wanted.  On Xbox it became 50-100.  Their was far less good of selections other than the games i listed for Gamecube.

It was my first game console i really started to collect for and is my biggest collection. Also it can play playstation 1 games.  Didnt have to deal with DLC/Half Made Games.  Also alot of games had good quality + very long.

4) Grandia Series (Grandia II, III and Xtreme)

11) Final Fantasy Series
12) Dragon Quest VIII
13) Dark Cloud ( 1 and 2)

15) Wild Arms Series

17) Haunting Ground and Rule of Rose

19) Front Mission 4
20) Suikoden Series

It was simiply put.... RPG Console Paradise.   That i never had to worry about not having full game, or be flooded with needing to buy Bunch of DLCs.  Pure and simple awesomness.  This mostly just from RPG side.  It not even mentioning all other great games that fit anyone's need/style.

Only thing you didnt have on PS2 console was either Halo, Mario, Zelda.  >.>

Sword Art Online

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate (Hoping it coming out for PS Vita or that it have Wii U version with it at very least)

+ Any other JRPG news (I am hoping this year it going to be year of RPGs cause so far it turning out that way for PS3/PS Vita users)

I saw that the preorder for the CE is up now... I haven't played the game since the original on the PS2, but I own Disgaea D2.  Think I should pick this one up?  I don't have a Vita at the moment, but I figure I will eventually.

Here a reason why you should pick up Disgaea 3 and Disgaea 4 for PS Vita over PS3.

1) You get ALL THE DLC that came out on both games on PS3 with the PS Vita Copy. For Free = "Which Adds up to value of the game by two fold" if you went PS3 Version.

personally i am picking up Disgaea 3 and 4 even though i own both on PS3 for PS Vita because it same the price than if i bought all the DLCs for PS3 version.

You should get the wind weaker because it a remake.  Than get physical version of pikimin 3.

Wind waker feel like it be around for long time and pikimin 3 become more rare first

Get the Fat.  = Loads Faster/OLED screen is SO MUCH Better.

You really sure about the loading faster part? I haven't read anything about it, nor about anything different in the hardware specs apart from the screen. Not that I doubt you, I'm just curious!

I thought so myself but I saw couple Ps vita side by side comparison and oled loaded faster and had richer colors they were on youtube

The Xillia 1 set was $100, right?  Strange that this one is so much more - the only things it seems to have over the other set is a keychain and a replica watch.  If it was a working watch, then *maybe* I could see that difference.

Yeah, this thread exists on many forums across the internet. The Wii U, a failure?!? Not really. I'm not ready to jump to any conclusions. The Vita, neither. They both have great potential. Developers could do really cool things with the U pad, and the Vita too, but they're either too lazy or too broke to do them.

I really think the vita is bouncing back the playstation 4 is really helping it.

I kinda wish people stop saying that....  "Vita bouncing back because Playstation 4 is helping"  No.   >.< THAT IS So UNTRUE.

Reason why PS Vita is bouncing back. have you read/heard about the list of Announced/Released PS Vita games for this year SO FAR... IT AMAZING!!!!.  It like if you combined last three years of PS3 JRPG games and released them all IN 1 year.

That why PS Vita is going crazy in number of sales.... in last 4 months they announced over 10+ JRPGs

Remote Control is just a plus for PS Vita.   The Real reason more PS Vita just doubled in last couple months is the announcements for releases of alot of japanes games that should had been imported over 1-2 years ago

It also doesn't hurt that when I buy (or get free from ps plus) a PS3 game they often come with the PSVita version for free.

I currently have 12 vita games and I don't even own the system!

These are good games too (at least on PS3). I've been seriously considering getting a vita just because of the number of games I already have for it.

Exactly the Playstation + is the best thing ever created.  I get free games on PS4/PS3/PS Vita but best part of this as well.  Is that i can hold off on buying physical copy for lil bit longer >.> but i buy one eventually, most likely when it at lowest cost possibile.

Also get at least 32 GB memory card.

Been using this for over 3 months now BEST GRIP that makes the VITA so much more comfortable and fun to play.  It also double battery life of the PS Vita also awesome part you can charge it while playing at same time with the grip.  It so good i am thinking of getting one or two more just in case the one i am using breaks or they stop making them.

P.S. just saved you 5hours i wasted researching ps vita vs the slim and finding the best most comfortable grip for it.
