Just picked up a factory sealed PS4 copy of Scarlet Nexus from GameStop using only the monthly $5 Pro credit and nothing out of pocket. I typically used the Pro credit on PlayStation Store cards but they ended the ability to use it towards digital currency this month sadly.

Thanks! I've collected a fair amount of STGs this year, with Zanac x Zanax being on my wish list for a while. Figured it would be a good game to end the year on.
Going into next year I want to diversify and collect more on other systems besides the PSX and Saturn. Japanese N64 and PS2 games in general seem well priced compared to the rest of the market, will likely start there.

Fun fact the C11 is the Engine used by the Ogiawa railway to represent Thomas the Tank Engine

I think you're making the right choice there, especially considering the N64 had some nice titles that never made it across the Pacific: Bangai-O, Dezaemon 3D, and Sin & Punishment are three I can personally recommend. There's also Custom Robo and Last Legion UX, and the Neon Genesis Evangelion game, the former two of which I can also recommend, but the latter I can't vouch for since I haven't formally given it a try, but I do hear it's good from colleagues and the few articles I've read (not exactly shmups, but still appropriate to mention, I feel).
As for the PS2, you're in for a treat, but I'll let you dig up those gems yourself; however, HOMURA (ほむら), Shooting Love ~TRIZEAL~, and XII Stag I think you'll appreciate. Personally, one of my grails is Ibara (鋳薔薇), but I've yet to find the right deal for it.

swordude always has the best variety pickups.
I went to the LGS to see if they had either a Sony DS3 controller or an Xbox 360. They only had third party controllers (bleh) and a special edition Xbox 360 they wanted $400 for. So instead I just picked up a couple of games that stood out for one reason or another.

I am not a butt jockey you know.?

It's common to find loose Xbox One consoles for under $100, so it may be more worthwhile to be on the lookout for those instead since they're able to play many Xbox and Xbox 360 games. I don't know the full scope of its backward compatibility capabilities, though.
