Been looking for a while for a N scale tank engine and this caught my eye. Also happens to be my first model of a Japanese locomotive.
Fun fact the C11 is the Engine used by the Ogiawa railway to represent Thomas the Tank Engine

Thanks! I've collected a fair amount of STGs this year, with Zanac x Zanax being on my wish list for a while. Figured it would be a good game to end the year on.

Going into next year I want to diversify and collect more on other systems besides the PSX and Saturn. Japanese N64 and PS2 games in general seem well priced compared to the rest of the market, will likely start there.

I think you're making the right choice there, especially considering the N64 had some nice titles that never made it across the Pacific: Bangai-O, Dezaemon 3D, and Sin & Punishment are three I can personally recommend. There's also Custom Robo and Last Legion UX, and the Neon Genesis Evangelion game, the former two of which I can also recommend, but the latter I can't vouch for since I haven't formally given it a try, but I do hear it's good from colleagues and the few articles I've read (not exactly shmups, but still appropriate to mention, I feel).

As for the PS2, you're in for a treat, but I'll let you dig up those gems yourself; however, HOMURA (ほむら), Shooting Love ~TRIZEAL~, and XII Stag I think you'll appreciate. Personally, one of my grails is Ibara (鋳薔薇), but I've yet to find the right deal for it.

300 euro loss on that one. quite a bit more rare in europe than it is in the states. it ain't vampire kiss but I'm not complaining very pleased to ad this gem to the collection.

I went to the LGS to see if they had either a Sony DS3 controller or an Xbox 360. They only had third party controllers (bleh) and a special edition Xbox 360 they wanted $400 for. So instead I just picked up a couple of games that stood out for one reason or another.

Two years ago I pre ordered a Polymega System with all the expansion packs, then I get an email they where shipping them out and I see they are taking pre orders for the Expansion Pack 5 and I get a package in the mail and get the expansion pack I ordered a month ago, but still waiting of the main console and the rest of the expansion packs. I was really hoping to get it before the end of the year. Sigh....

It's common to find loose Xbox One consoles for under $100, so it may be more worthwhile to be on the lookout for those instead since they're able to play many Xbox and Xbox 360 games. I don't know the full scope of its backward compatibility capabilities, though.
