Whether it's rare or obscure, what do you have that no one else does, or will ever have?

I didn't really dig into the weirder titles in my PC collection, but all of these are probably the rarest things I have that I'd list here.
-
The NES Hands Free controller I've held alone since I joined... but it's such a known obscure, I think another collector here will eventually nab one.
There are also a bunch of old big box PC games I own that seem like no one else will acquire them.
-
Might be wrong about this, but I have a CIB copy of the original Fire Emblem on the Famicom. I'd be surprised if anyone else has it complete.
-
I really don't have much in the way of rare or obscure. But according to the site, I'm the only one with the japanese copies of Castlevania Dracula X and Sonic Blast Man 2 in their collections here.
The only thing I could think of that I have that's obscure would be some of my old PC games from back in the early 90s like Captain Bible (which I know at least one other guy here has) and Yearn 2 Learn with Snoopy/Peanuts which I don't even have in my collection on here because I have no way to play them anymore lol
-
I don't have a lot of rare stuff in the collection yet, although I do have games that are only in my collection such as a Saturn demo disc, cube battler, and 3d shooting maker. However, what baffles me is that I'm the only person who has a copy of Front Mission 2 on this database, especially since given how for being a srpg Japan only release, most of the mandatory text is in English, and there are around 530,000 copies sold, and its not very expensive either.
-
I think I'm the only person that has a Donkey Kong/Donkey Kong Jr/Mario Bros arcade cabinet. I was at one time.
I'm sure there's some shitty, obscure GBA or Wii game that I have that no one else will own up to.
-
I have soccer for Arcadia 2001 that apparently no one in the database has. Bad part is that I don't have the console to play it. >:(
-
I have this game called Dragonology. I had to make a page for it on this website. There isn't even a wikipedia page for it. There was a website on the back of the game. I went to it and it didn't exist. I went to amazon and a new version of this game costs $189.
-
I don't know...
I'll have to do some looking... *wanders off*
I'm the only person on the site with a Pokemon Center Tokyo Edition Game Boy Light.
I have Grand Slam on Saturn, which is the only copy tracked on the site.
I have a Greek copy of Etrian Odyssey on DS, though we have a couple of other EU owners listed, I'd say it's a rarish thing for a US person to own.
I'm one of 10 people on the site that has Class of Heroes 2's physical release on PSP.
I'm also one of 10 people on the site that has the Diamond Trust of London Limited Edition for DS.
I'm one of 2 people with the Game Boy's Game Keeper carrying case.
I think I'm the only one with the Game Boy's Fanny Pack carrying case (CIB, no less). But I just realized it's not listed in the database.

Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis CIB...

I know several people here have it on CD-ROM.

Guess what... I got that as a Secret Santa gift a few years ago.
I just have no idea where it is so I never catalogued it. :p

I have a few items that Im guessing no one else would have.
Black tiger arcade cabinet
Prototype set of Messiah wireless NES controllers (only 2 sets made period)
DQ Monsters Battle road victory controller
PS1 kiosk
Heh Im also going to add a movie thing. Saw I-VII on Blu ray. :D

Giclees?
Maybe some of my OST's, art books, and/or plushies?
Interesting topic, though 8)
-
Hmm, mostly that would be goodies/promo items in my case. I know I'm the only one to have *logged* these in my collection:
Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess promo silver coin - http://vgcollect.com/item/50880
Pokéball-shaped promo 3DS game holder - http://vgcollect.com/item/50254
Pokémon XY "Keep calm and catch them all" promo t-shirt - http://vgcollect.com/item/50878
A few promo t-shirts - http://vgcollect.com/item/50874 http://vgcollect.com/item/50872 http://vgcollect.com/item/50876
And ONE game:
Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Children - Aka no Sho
-
The only games I can think of that might be off the beaten path are 3 brand new games for the Socrates educational game system. I didn't look into it much, but when I typed Socrates into the search bar only a couple accessories came up so I'm assuming they're hard to find.

super mario / duck hunt on the NES :o

Well, I was going to say "An action replay cart for Sega Saturn, to play imports" buuut after reading some of your responses, it doesn't seem like a big deal at all. Well, I have a Super Scope 6 CIB...

-
The Wonder Wizard - Model 7706. Which is a Pong clone console released in 1976.
I'm sure there are other people with Pong clones on here, but do you have this model?
I also realized I had never added it to the database, it now is.

While this isn't listed in my collection, it is mine. I'm only tracking my actual games. Metroid Famicom handbill.

Also, I have one of these. Super Galaxy Invader handheld.
http://vgcollect.com/item/56922

I bought the PS3 signage from a store going out of business, but I can't count that. I do know I am the only one on VGC to have the Judge Dredd Preview Genesis cart.

I'm the only one here who's put a few German versions of Pokémon games in their collection. I have Red, SoulSilver, and Typing Challenge in German, and on top of that I have a French copy of Crystal. Seeing as how many European users are on here though, I'm honestly surprised that no one has any other foreign language Pokémon games (except for JP imports).
I also had to add some obscure Japanese sports GBC games I got, and I added the Mortal Kombat movie on Blu-Ray.
Also apparently I'm the only one who has a US copy of Pin-Bot for NES, considering that the EU and Canadian versions were in the database but the US one wasn't.

Nobody ever seems to agree on how the damn name is spelled. With a dash? With a dot? With a space? Argh.
-
Use them all ;D
-
I would just call it Pin Bot. The item in the middle is a pinball that looks mostly for design. Its not a dot or a dash.

Well that's egg on my face. I guess I'm guilty of submitting a dupe. The problem is, what should the correct title be?

I own the game on NES, and on every database and listing I've seen of it, it has a dash: "Pin-Bot".

Wikipedia is even confused. The pinball table is PIN•BOT (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PIN•BOT) while the video game is Pin Bot (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pin_Bot_(video_game)).

Look at the NES game's cover, the box in the front has a space between both parts of the name. Maybe that's why they went with that?

GameCube display cup (http://i.imgur.com/LAQBBuM.jpg). Bought it from someone claiming to have been a former sales rep for NOA. From the other strange Nintendo related listings they had it seemed legit. I'm not sure what it's real purpose was. I think it might have been made to hold pens. Even if it's not legitimate still makes for neat little GBA cart holder.
Nintendo Family Computer Gun (http://i.imgur.com/I8Mmzir.jpg). I know there's two other ppl on the site that have the Gun at least so it's not like "no one else has it." The Gun is still one of my favorite things I own.
Nintendo Ten Billion Barrel (http://i.imgur.com/mQwOFgM.jpg). The Ten Billion was one of their last toys made by Nintendo before they totally switched to video games. I wouldn't be surprised if someone else had one honestly they appear on auction sites all the time. It's one of the few Nintendo items I have that isn't directly video game related.
"All Plastic" Nintendo playing cards. (http://i.imgur.com/txZM0Bp.jpg) The other Nintendo item I own that isn't directly video game related. Sniped these a few years ago at a decent price. Unfortunately the case isn't dated. They're probably from the late 70s or early 80s.
-
At least according to the page info, I am the only person on VG collect that owns Elf Bowlng 1 & 2 on the DS.

I've seen that game a few times, but it looks terrible, so I didn't pick it up. How is it really?

Pocket Power: A promotional issue of Nintendo Power given away at theaters showing The Wizard. I still have my original copy; I think I actually have two, but can only find one of them. They're pretty rare today. Mine is about in this condition.
Super Mario Galaxy beach towel: Preorder bonus given away at Toys R Us. I opened mine to display it, but it's never been used.
Metroid Prime disc wallet: Preorder bonus from Best Buy. Simple little Gamecube disc wallet with the Samus 'S' logo on it. I can't even find an image of this thing, so it must be pretty uncommon.
Vintage Blaster Master T-shirt: Got this from sending in a coupon I cut out of an old game magazine and mailed in to Sunsoft. I don't think I ever wore it and I've never seen another one.
-
That Wizard Nintendo Power issue is awesome! I've never even seen that before!

I'd never heard of it either. That looks amazing.

Looking through the database, unique ones that I have are:
Puzzled for Neo Geo MVS
Lupin III: Pandora no Isan for Famicom
Moai Kun for Famicom
Spectre VR for Macintosh (I'll bet nobody else has it complete with its weird shaped box) ::)
a number of Mac Classic software actually... nobody here was an old Mac gamer?
Gaming related items that aren't listed that I don't think anyone else has:

The blue metal Flynn's Arcade sign from Disneyland when they had the ElecTRONica event. There were only a few made by the park's prop department from what I understand. The sign sat outside the arcade. It was so much fun, I really miss that event!
Also, I've got one of those black silk advertising banners that Nintendo would send to stores like Toys R Us in the '90s to drive us kids crazy about video games. Mine has the Zelda Link to the Past logo, with "IS HERE!!" written in big letters.

That's some cool stuff! Does the DW III prototype cartridge look like a normal GBC cart without the label? How did you get your hands on that Pokemon distribution cart? Did you know somebody who works at Toys R Us and get it from them, or did you just get it off of Ebay? Have I pestered you with enough questions yet? :P

The DW cart is cut open on one side with a label describing what it is. I just got the Pokemon cart off Ebay. I got a pretty good price because I bought it with a bunch of other NFS items.

Probably something in my stuff collection, my games are hardly unique. I've got all sorts of bits and bobs that are boxed up that I don't even remember these days. xD;

Thinking about it, it wouldn't surprise me if I'm the only person in the entire US with a complete German version of Pokémon Typing Adventure.
-
Oh speaking of Pokemon...
I have a Toys R Us FireRed GBA cart for a Mew giveaway event. Literally has boxes and boxes full of Mew on it.

Would have said SwordQuest Water World, but apparently six of you have a copy.

-
the equestrian, the only simulation game whare you play DDR to train your horse and i have not played it yet because i'm scared to see what other wacky shit this game has
-
Probably no games, since I prefer to collect for disk-based systems. About the rarest thing I have according to the database is my complete copy of Pipo Saru 2001, which was a Japan-only Ape Escape spin-off game. I'm one of 4 people with that in their collection. Oh, I'm also one of two people with the Japanese version of Devil May Cry.
As for swag, I don't have that in the db but I imagine I have quite a bit that's unique or at least rare. A Steambot Chronicles mini harmonica keychain, a Starfox Adventures car air freshener, a GBA SP neon wall clock and my double-sided Legend of Dragoon promo poster, just to name a few off the top of my head. I want to do some videos at some point of me going through some of my stuff like that, because I find a lot of it interesting so maybe other people would too. :)
EDIT: Oh, and this is my wedding band - it's probably somewhat unique. ;)
EDIT EDIT: Ack, I completely forgot I have the Killzone 3 Limited Helghast Edition - probably because I need to get it entered into my collection.
The Killzone 3 Limited Helghast Edition[28] is not sold in stores and is exclusive to North America. Only 1000 have been made, 125 of which were given away in the multiplayer open beta from February 4 through February 6 and February 11 through February 13, 2011. The Limited Helghast Edition contains all the same elements as the retail version of the Helghast Edition, but features a replica Helghast Helmet with illuminated LED eyes, simulating Helghasts’ glowing mask.
The outer box of mine is signed by the guys from IGN's Podcast Beyond. Unfortunately, when they shipped it to me they just stuck a shipping label on the actual box, so it's a little beat up. :(

I'm not really sure, I suppose the most obscure thing in my collection is the limited edition of Di Gi Charat Fantasy for the Dreamcast, although it seems 1 other person has it as well :'(
I also own a Japanese (I think) copy of Samurai Warriors: State of War for the PSP that a friend gave to me, and I don't know how rare or obscure that is or anything, but I think it might be quite uncommon.

Probably some of the more obscure games for the Tandy color computer. Not many people in general collect for the coco and even fewer are on vgcollect. (I know there are a few) but I've picked up some obscure tape based games over the years like King Cuthbert, Starship Chameleon and Death Trap
Also some older PC stuff like CIB Silpheed and Test Drive II and others that, for some inexplicable reason I removed from my collection, and will now have to reinsert.

Have you actually tried to run that on a modern Linux distro? That would be insane if it still worked right out of the box.

Actually, forget what I posted earlier! Since they weren't listed on the site previously a few of my C64 cassettes might be something that I own that nobody else does (hopefully)

Fox, this is honestly the reason. It was late. I wasn't sure if Linux and PC were the same category and I felt like if I'm adding it I should provide pictures.
I was too tired to do any of that. I'll do it sometime when I am home and feeling the need to be a bit more useful. :)
...
Plus I wanted to feel special. ;)
-
Wouldn't Linux be PC? We don't have all the versions of Windows listed as separate platforms?
If that were the case then why do we have three separate Mac categories? :P
I'd personally list it under PC, with (Linux version) in the title. I've only seen like two or three physical Linux titles on sale in like fifteen years (this, Hopkins FBI, and Tux Racer.)
