i'm missing a few colors of Yoshi and I misplaced Bowser somewhere in my house.. (I also have a Banjo Kazooie that is not pictured). Since those came out during N64 phase (and thats when I got them) I always wondered why Fox didn't have one made especially since Nintendo already branched away from the mushroom kingdom by including Banjo. StarFox 64 made Fox relevant, too. oh well. I say that just to say that I want a FOX too!!!!

I got a Roy amiibo and World of Nintendo figure this weekend, and I'm going to receive my Link Nendoroid (Majora's Mask version) soon! Not big on video games, I should slow down on figures acquisition ::)

Finally got around to picking up one of the 3DS Pokémon entries, Omega Ruby. Also got Mercury Meltdown Revolution (Wii). As a pleasant surprise, EB Games happened to be giving Pokémon 20th Anniversary posters and the Darkrai code cards. Got one of each of those as well.

i know there are plenty who like to dismiss MK for snes, and there are plenty who love it.. I don't really fall into either category as I've recently played MK for the first time (MK III), but I will say this: if folks will stop comparing to this and that and nit-picking graphics, etc.. SNES MK is a load of fun and it can make best buddies turn into bitter rivals really quickly lol

I saw an add advertising Nintendo with games and got there right as they opened. When I asked about it they said someone knocked on their door the day before and bought it. I hate when people do this. :-\
Next sale advertised a Genesis and I get there and see its still there. It was $25 but she said she'd take $20. The games where meh but I still picked it up.

I offer $10 and he said okay then his wife starts yelling at him that she wanted to see those games. (I'm thinking crap shes not going to sell them or want way to much) Shes shuffles through them and says I can't take $10 for these, I'll go $15. :D

I ask what she would sell the 21 games for? and she says $5 for all of them. :o :o :o
I pay her the $5 then offer her $10 for six she held and she thinks and looks through them and says she'd sell all but one. (Super Mario All-Stars & Super Mario World combo cart) and says she'll take $8 for the five games. so for $13 I got 26 SNES games. ;D

And i have added something pretty big Friday just after work, i accompanied a few friends in a small bar (i don't drink so i don't usually go with them) and in this bar i heard the bartender and his wife complaining about a Megatouch Force 2005 (http://i1282.photobucket.com/albums/a540/Metshael/2016-05-08_0005_zpszboelskg.jpg) that stopped working two months ago and wanted to trow it away to gain space, what do you think i've done ? Yes now it take space in my house (buyed it for a few drinks to my friends who are also friend with the bartender ;)), it need a LOT of cleaning and unsurprisingly it didn't work (the screen work but only show a "No Signal" message). I will have to open it (they didn't have the key for it and since i don't want to break it i will try others option) to see what's inside and maybe repair it, and if i can't maybe i can give it a second life since apparently it's possible to modify it to run Mame (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nv1eoFIGlaQ) (never done that before so i will have to check a few tuto to see what i need).

doooooooood. All winter, I have been watching folks get their pick ups and Im just like sitting here waiting for yard sale season to start back up... as well as saving money after buying a house.

Finally managed to purchase this title, had been looking for a good deal at Mercado Libre but the damn bastards even for an used game wants in the worst case 48 bucks but thats besides the point cause managed to get a copy of Splatterhouse (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Splatterhouse_%282010_video_game%29) with the help of one partner from the office who purchased this one for me at his eBay account and it only cost me 10 bucks and the shipping was free, guess that am gonna ask him a couple of more favors so that way I can get those titles that am unable to find here in Mexico got a couple of them in mind but money at least for me don't grow up on trees :(

Ordered some stuff from Amazon because it was cheap. Got P.N. 03 CIB, Viewtiful Joe 2 CIB, and what was supposed to be Harvest Moon A Wonderful Life Black label CIB, but arrived as player's choice and missing manual. That Harvest Moon is going back.

First I bought a huge game and console lot made a nice solid profit and allot of stuff for free.
this is the stuff I'll keep for free. most are with cables and controllers but as a gamer I do need some spare consoles and the cables wich I already have are not the things that break during usage.

Apparently expensive but really handy to play all games ever released. I'll keep it, still though very odd how this ended up in that lot.

The jetsons unfortunatly german but the series is nostalgia for me + that the scandinavian english version is extremely rare and only available in that region. Since a german copy is already rare and expensive I fear that an english Pal copy might cost 500 - 1000.

Gamestop is putting the Wind Waker Nendroid on sale. I've been wanting it for quite awhile, but 40 to 50 bucks for their figures is abit pricey for a toy, so I figure at 30 bucks, it's more manageable and makes a nice addition to the other Zelda toys I have.

I didn't know that the head could come off the body, which would've saved me that problem, but the hair was stuck and I pressed it to my body. I don't know who's bright idea it was to make the peg connected to the ball joint, of which the head itself is twice the size of the body, only actually connect to half of the peg. It's literally like a millimeter in width that holds this head to the peg and in turn the body. Luckily I found a trick to pull the peg out and I should hopefully be able to super glue it back together.

Stopped at a sale and asked about games and she said no. But saw I was wearing a Star Wars T-Shirt and asked if I was interested in Star Wars toys. I open them and its mostly Star Wars stuff from the 90s and then I see a bunch of Sega Master System games. :) So then I start going through all the boxes and find more gaming goodness and I make a stack and ask a price. She says $12 and I agree and was about to pay her when she starts having second thoughts and says she wants to call her husband. She couldn't get a hold of him and starts to act like she wasn't going to sell them, So I offer $20 for everything and she finally said okay.

And now the best find of the week. I stop at a huge community sale. It was mostly scraps (like I listed above) but at one sale I ask about games and they give me the classic "Sorry no" and as I leave another person who was just shopping at the garage sales asks me what I was looking for? I tell him pretty much everything and he tells me he has a Colecovision. I tell yes I'm interested and at first he asks my number but I ask him if he lives far and he says he lives just up the street. So I ask if we can go check it out now and he says sure. We go to his house and he invites me in and asks his wife about where the Colecovision was and she tells him it was given away a long time ago. Then he tells me he has some PS2 games. We go to his entertainment room and he pulls out about 20 PS2 games. I pick out a few and then he say he also has these and pulls out a huge stack of NES and a few SNES games and a Retron 2 console. :)
I make a huge stack of games and ask a price and he said make an offer. So I start low at $20 and he said yes. As we bag it up and tells me I can have the Retron 2 with several controllers for free. lol Here's everything I got.

You know what always happens when I ask folks at garage sales if they have any video games. They either say the usual no, or they say "Oh yeah, I have some old games that belong to my son, let me go get them" and then they roll out with sports games and Call of Duty games for 360. ALWAYS 360.
Got my Majora's Mask Link Nendoroid... and... a package from gf78.
I got some stuff from Amazon last week, but I probably never mentioned it. Mega Man the board game, to go with my expansion set that I got from Comic Book day. Mega Man III for GB. Bomberman Generations for GCN. Sometimes Amazon comes through.
Gotta finish a stupid mystery jigsaw puzzle before we can play Mega Man though.

I've gotten a few things in the past couple weeks since my last post. Today I managed to find the first print edition of Bayonetta 2 (WiiU) today at an EB. I didn't expect I'd be lucky enough to find one locally for well under eBay prices. It didn't end up costing me much more than buying a new copy of the reprint without the original Bayonetta.

SUCH a fantastic PC game back in the day. We used to play each other on our school's network in huge 16-player deathmatches. So much fun. And even better than Goldeneye was, even though that was hailed as the best multiplayer at the time.
The PS1 version is, unfortunately, half the game without the multiplayer. But the levels are still fun to play through.

Got my Sega adapter for the Tandy Color Computer in the mail today. Man what a difference. If you've ever played a coco game with any of the standard coco sticks they aren't the best. Now I've got a wico atari stick to play games like Stellar Life Line and I'm whipping all over the screen with precision and Rampage with a Genesis pad is pure heaven.
I also picked up Super Dropzone for the GBA for $3 at a local game store. Great defender style game, and although not really game related, I grabbed a Dell Pentium 4 computer from a thrift store for $20 with XP on it. Works great. I love fooling around with older computers. I might make it a dedicated Linux box.

I agree. Full 360 degree movement back then. Racing the clock to get out before the reactor explodes. All on a 486. It was awesome.

CIB Blue Dragon: Awakened Shadow (DS) for under $40 (crazy how expensive this game is). Manual is a curled for a few pages, but maybe I can warm up the pages to flatten it. Has anyone attempted something like that or have a different method?
Poplocrois (PSP) for about $10. Thought I was able to get this CIB for cheap but when I opened it up, I realized the seller had the wrong game in the box. I checked the listing and saw that it was the wrong game in the pictures as well. Seller was nice about it and is willing to refund it if I send it back, but I kinda don't want to waste the money just to send it back. I'll keep looking around for a UMD - the box and manual are in pretty good condition otherwise.
As for the game inside the box? nothing too interest. Just Untold Legends for PSP.

Had that happen to me a few weeks ago. Really wanted a copy of Star Wars Battlefront Elite Squardon (PSP) saw one on Etsy. Comes in the mail and it's the right case and booklet but wrong game they sent Star Wars Battlefront Rogue Squadron (PSP). They gave me my money back and told me to just keep it. Which is great but I already have Rogue Squadron guess I'll keep haunting the local places and hope for a Elite Squardon loose in the wild.

The first was on Friday at a community sale, I ask about games and the dad asks his kid if he wanted to sell the N64 he doesn't play. The kid just says I don't care and gives his dad some lip about it. The Dad starts yelling at him and I'm standing there feeling uncomfortable then the Dad just goes in and brings out a trunk with a N64 complete in the box and its the Star Wars Episode I Racer edition. Plus 15 games. I ask a price and he puts it back on me. I try for $30 but he says he wants $55. I try to get it all for lower but the best he would sell it for was $50. I had to get it. ;)

I look through them and see nothing I'm interested in. I was about to leave when her daughter comes out and says "is this the kind of thing your looking for?" and is holding a N64 game case. :o I open it and see its FILLED with games I see a couple good games and ask a price for all of it and she says $20. ;D ;D ;D

I come back on Saturday morning and I find her daughter is running the sale, I ask her about the games her mom was supposed to bring and she shows me to a table in the back with the games out to sell. Lucky no one bought any. I ask what she wanted for them all and she says $6. :o

And last a garage sale find I originally found three years ago. At a sale I stopped at in 2013 I asked about video games, she tells me to follow her inside. She takes me downstairs and shows me three arcade cabinets. I loved them but at the time I had no space to even think of getting any of them. So I take pictures and call my friend who collects arcades and Pinball machines and send him pictures. He loved them but he was broke at the time so I left thinking someone else would get them. I always told the story of these arcades I would have loved to get and many have told me I should have bought them and store them or something. Well about a month ago I stop at a garage sale and I ask the lady about video games, she said her daughter had some arcades and wanted to get rid of them. I ask does she know what games they were and she says two of them and I was stunned I pull out my phone and show her the picture I took three years ago and ask if these where them? And she looks at me funny and says yes. So she takes my number and I get a call back this week to come look at them. I get there and look at them and they where in the same place I saw them 3 years ago. I talk price and they accepted $200 a piece. So I rented a truck and brought them home. Hauling full size arcades from a basement was a chore. I'm still sore from moving three arcades. lol Here's what I got. ;D

I do agree with you on that the DK machine is the one that collectors want I prefer street fighter myself.
The street fighter cab has interesting art work usually different I do kinda recognize the art from a bootleg cardridge I have. I find it to be interesting so I kept it. Offical art would look different that's true.

In my region we have various Facebook pages where people give away free stuff. People simply put whatever they have on there, if you want it you can comment on it, and after a while the poster announces a winner. A few days ago someone posted a box filled with CD-ROMS. I commented, and I won. It was a big hassle getting it home by bike, but I now have it!

Most of the software is for Windows 95. A lot of it was either burned at home, or was for educational use (like Encarta). There were also a ton of burned copies from a series named 'Twilight'. I never heard of it, but apparently it's a collection of multiple PC games? I don't know.

In the meanwhile, I now have 14 Windows 95 games to try out. I just finished my exams, so I have some time to kill. Perfect timing!

Yeah, I've always liked that their store has the extras available, but I'd love to have a set with the outer box and everything to go with my premium version of Ys: Seven and anniversary edition of Celceta :D
They put up a blog entry recently about how their goodies often have different minimums, so they end up selling the extras on their store. I noticed that the store was hacked a while ago, but it looks like it's ok if you go directly to their main site then to the store. Unfortunately, the first link for "xseed store" gives you the hacked redirect.

Managed to find a complete copy of Soul Calibur IV (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soulcalibur_IV) at Mercado Libre Mexico for less than nine bucks, have to say that I'm not a big fan of this franchise and that I only decided to add it to my collection because of Ivy Valentine, time ago wanted to have all the titles for their respective consoles, I mean the first one for the Dreamcast, the second one for the GameCube (already got the third one) but it seems that these two are still available to be purchase from the Xbox games store ;D

Was out hitting the sales Thursday and Friday and while I did have some cool finds including a Boxed NES and a few games. Nothing like last weekend. Also found some rare PS2 games at a used game store for a lot less then online. I'll show pic's and tell you guys everything tomorrow.
I also found another arcade cabinet at a garage sale (all of a sudden I'm finding arcades left and right) lol
On top of that I have a lead for another cabinet I always wanted and I'm going to check it out this Sunday.
I mainly made this post to see if anyone is in the northern Illinois area and wants this arcade, I was tempted but due to space I'm waiting to fill those with an arcade I want more. The guy only wanted $400 for it.

Thanks!I was so pleasantly surprised with how much better the dreamcast maracas work after being pretty disappointed in the wii samba's controls. I think i put a solid 3 hours in to the dreamcast version as soon as i got it home.

I really hope that the gamecube modding community can come up with a cheap alternative to the official component cable cause the price has gotten way out of hand.

Most of it was from a lot on eBay, which explains why I now have not one, but two hamster related games on the GBC. :P Lots of stuff to practice my Japanese with now. :o Not pictured, but I also bought a Dr. Mario Amiibo from Walmart since they seemed to have gotten a reprint recently.

Next I hit a sale and ask about games, the man says he has some Wii games. He goes to retrieve them and I talk to his wife saying how much I prefer the classics and she tells me he has a Nintendo but he still plays it. I tell her if she thinks he'll sell any he didn't play and she goes in to ask him. He comes out with three Wii games and three NES games. I look at the Wii and its all crap in bad shape. I pass but the NES games I ask what he wanted and at first he says $10 but I get him to accept $6 for these three.

As I was about to leave the father asks if I would be interested in a Nintendo. I course I say yes and he takes me in his house and shows me a NES Control Deck complete in box. He first asks $50 but I get him to take $40. :D Then he asks if I'd be interested in an arcade cabinet. I Take I look and see the Super Off-Road arcade machine I posted about earlier and he wanted $400. But again due to space and I would rather have other arcades take it I passed.
While not the best week for sales, I still found a few nice finds. 8)

I joke about not wanting them, but unless it is an extra I like to keep them. I get extras all the time and I forget to list them on the sell list. If you guys see anything your interested in from the garage sales there's a chance it could be an extra. Usually I only buy extras for classic consoles or games I know sell well like those classic collections on the PS1 and PS2. While I can't promise the price I pay for them at the sales (unless you come out and do the work with me.) I will always give you guys a better deal. I might try and make a list of stuff and put it on the market place at some point.
speaking of which I just got more scrap games for cheap. lol
I just went out today and remembered that a used book store in my area was having a store wide sale on all their stock at 50% off. So I raided their video games usually marked $2 a piece and bought every game they had I was missing for $1 each. (it's what I'd buy them for at a garage sale.) :P

Shinobi X cib excellent shape best game on the saturn and IMO the best shinobi game, I had many insane deals in the past weeks so I treated myself to this game wich I might find for a bargain price in some years or never at all. it's nice to find games like panzer dragoon saga or megaman x3 for nothing at all but those are not the games that I really want. It's usually the cheaper games that are better.

mario DsI LE excellent shape 2 stylus including the big one with mario bros for 55 euro's shipping included. Pretty hard to find in nice shape for a decent price. I doubt I can find it any cheaper in this shape anytime soon.

Last "Official" Dreamcast exclusive I still wanted. Still want Sturmwind, but that's a homebrew and limited quantity, so I doubt I'll get that one.
Pretty much everything else I want on Dreamcast is a multiplatform release that I want upgraded from my PS1 versions.

I'm just saying, just because it has english doesn't make it NA. From what I read, it sounds like it is a CN or JP release.
My internet is really slow, I'm trying to research, it might be a second print JP run that included English subtitles.

Its an Asian release. But the PS4 options are NA/EU/JP/AU/CN. Its definitely not EU, AU, or CN. So its between JP (which already has a untranslated version) or NA. I picked NA.

Personally I would put it in CN, and designate it as a general Asian release with [AS] or [Asian]. That's what's been done with a few games like this before. I don't think it should go in the NA category, it's not an NA release.

You're totally right, most of the countries don't have their own games. But some do, and since the overall sections are very broad like EU and NA, we use the TLD codes to separate the different versions, rather than have one for each country.
So [CA] is used to differentiate Canadian releases in the NA category. [IT] or [FR], for example, are used to separate the different French and Italian game variants out of the EU category. I'm not an expert on it, but that's how I've understood why it's done that way.
