I picked up some SFC gems recently.
Flying Hero
Gokujo Parodius
Great Battle IV

I'm definitely in love with Parodius. It's basically the happiest happiest game ever made.

Try being a game developer. The whole industry is built on secrets.

There was one, but not too many western titles used it because it came out so late over here.

I do primarily Nintendo because thats what I stuck with growing up. I do have a 2600 and a PS1 with a few games for each. I've tried to branch out further to Lynx and Genesis/Mega Drive but ended up selling them off after a couple years.

At a small town RadioShack in 2003 I found a standard Nintendo 64 console (new) they were selling for about 500 dollars. I used to visit this store every once in a while and this wasn't just some item that had been sitting around a few years. They had gone out and obtained this system fairly recently and then stuck a crazy price on it.

I just thought this was funny because even at launch these systems were only 200 dollars, and here we were already well into the next generation asking more than double the MSRP.

General / Most American Videogame ?
« on: July 04, 2017, 05:40:23 pm »
On this 4th of July I ask: what is the most 'Merican videogame ever made?

For me it has to be Duke Nukem. No one else embodies the American spirit like he does. Loves guns and scantily dressed women. What he lacks in smarts, he makes up for with balls and a "can-do" attitude.

Is there another character or game that can take the spot the most American? Happy fourth of July!

You're better off modding the thing to output composite, instead of getting some kind of dinky converter. Or better yet, there's HDMI mods now.

Its the same thing with the Toads. They're essentially genderless.
Then how do you explain Toadette?

Maybe she only self-identifies as female.   :o
