Hardware and Tech / Commodore 64 blown RF Unit
« on: August 02, 2014, 05:56:48 pm »
Hey guys!
I was given a Commodore 64 from my father who brought it years ago and kept it all this time along with a handful of games and a Commodore 1530 Datassette Unit Model C2N and when he gave it to me he said that the Commodore 64 does not fully work and the Datassette Unit does not work either. After I opened it up I noticed that a few resistors and that had blown in the RF unit for the C64 and the datassette does absolutely nothing when plugged in. Is there anyone here who offers the service to repairs or check these systems in the UK? Any help on this matter would be appreciated. Thanks

Classic Video Games / Star Trek Commodore 64
« on: July 29, 2014, 05:52:26 am »
Hey everyone!
Pleae can someone help me. I was given a large collection of Commodore 64 stuff by my dad and 1 or 2 of the games are missing covers etc and I have come across Star Trek on the Commodore 64 but I am unable to find anything about it except that it was released in 1983 and was made by Interceptor Micro's which is also called Interceptor Software. It is not currently on the database and I wish to add it but do not wish to do so without a little bit more information and preferably with an image of the cover to help others when they add it. If anyone knows anything about this game I would appreciate the assistance. Thanks!

Video Game Database Discussion / Commodore 64 Accessories question
« on: July 28, 2014, 04:54:31 pm »
Hey there
I joined VGCollect yesterday and have been trying to add 1 or 2 accessory items for my C64 but there is not accessory section for the C64, only for the Vic-20. Am I being a dumb collector in thinking that the accessories for the C64 are different then the Vic-20 or are they the same? I haven't been collecting C64 stuff for long so still not 100% with it. I appreciate any help provided on this.

Video Game Database Discussion / Z The Bitmap Brothers
« on: July 27, 2014, 01:07:25 pm »
Hey there.
I added the game Z onto the EU PS1 database but have had to list it as Z The Bitmap Brothers as a minimm character requirement of 3 was needed. The Bitmap Brothers is the company who made it. Just thought I would let you know so you can alter it on the database.
