Off Topic / Re: Do you dip your grilled cheese in ketchup?

Man, these topics just keep getting better and better.

Bored kid I'm guessing. Or it's some form of tourettes I've never heard of that makes a person spontaneously post forum topics based on any random thought in their head at that particular moment.

Hey guys, lets release a game called The legend of Zelda. It isn't like their is a game for NES called legend of Zelda already along with dozens of other games in the series that share that name and it isn't like when people say "Hey I just got Legend of Zelda"  people wont be like "which one?" What if when legendary names like WindWaker or Orcarina of Time were released they just got lazy and said "Lets name them "legend of Zelda"  it would have ruined our childhood and it is now.

And hey lets make a Need for Speed most wanted and just call it need for speed most wanted instead of need for speed most wanted 2. When a NFS most wanted already existed and people wont know which one you are referring too

and hey lets make a new Doom, what will we call it?  Ummm, idk. Maybe just doom. So people get it confused with the original doom.  it would be like if Nintendo released a game called Kirby's adventure in 2016 and kept the name.  Is it that hard to put the 2? Come on, please video game developers. We shouldn't have to put Need for Speed most wanted (2012) when we talk about games. If you just added literally one digit. :(.  All we need is a 2.

This would be annoying, almost as annoying as someone posting more than one topic with "cheese" in the title.

Grilled cheese goes great with Tomato soup. Fantastic comfort food on a cool day too. You need a good fresh bread, no wonder bread, also gotta use real cheese, not that velveeta crap.

Yikes, I don't even know. It's not REALLY either, more like a console mod. Do we really want to start cataloging parts?

Its a good question. If you decide you don't want it added I won't. It's not a big deal

I ordered a "Blinking Light Win" from Arcade Works last week, which is still in transit. When it arrives I'll add it to the database since it's not here but was wondering which category would be more appropriate - NES Hardware or NES accessory?

General / Re: Overrated and Underrated Video Game Youtube Channels

Overated- Markiplier, Angry Video Game Nerd (Cinemassacre), Metal Jesus Rocks

Underated- Alpha Omega Sin, Leafyishere

Wow I love MJR, he's informative and entertaining and has some great guests like John Hancock. The two you listed as underrated, to me, are just juvenile loudmouth immature morons with no substance. The sad thing is it seems that's their appeal.

90% of the time my PS3 serves as a bluray player. I've only got a handful of games for it but the ones I have I enjoy. Portal 2 and Need for Speed Hot Pursuit are two of my favorite games of the last 5 or 6 years. Never owned a 360, not a big fan of paperweights.

Video Showcase / Re: Top five E3 2016 predictions! What are yours?

I'm hoping E3 will have a big announcement from Mike Kennedy about the Coleco Chameleon. . . That's still a thing right?

^ Attention seeking, yeah, agreed. But I don't think he's trying to be a troll. I don't think he's trying to piss anyone off, he just wants to talk a lot.

If he truly believes some of the things he says then he's just "special" but I kinda doubt it so my vote still goes to troll.

Based on his created threads we can conclude that he's... different than all of us.

My vote goes to "attention seeking troll"

Classic Video Games / Re: Best Gameboy and Gameboy Advance titles?
« on: May 01, 2016, 08:59:10 pm »
As an old school arcade fan, I find the gameboy systems chock full of great arcade ports. Some of my absolute favorites are

Burgertime Deluxe
Mr. Do
Qix
Dig Dug
Game and Watch Gallery
Donkey Kong

I only have two for the GBC but they're both good - Shamus (great Berzerk style game) and Game and Watch Gallery 3

Three faves on the GBA are

Space Invaders
Dr. Mario / Puzzle League
but my favorite is by far Iridion II. Awesome shmup for the gba

Goddamn Illuminati again! Someone needs to lay off the "start a new thread" button. Not every thought needs a topic on a video game board.

In 50 years I'll be 96 so IF I'm around I doubt I'll care. I probably won't be able to feed myself or wipe my own ass let alone play video games :D

Will do thanks for the go-ahead. I'll try scanning them in this evening or over the weekend :)

I recently picked up an Atari 800XL lot which included some books and manuals from the 80's such as Computer Basic, Atari XL Handbook, Atari Basic Tutorial, etc. These were books sold in stores, not items included with the computers themselves. I'm guessing the site owners and mods would not want things like these in the database as they aren't directly game related but I'm asking just to be sure.
