Yeah, I got it at a thrift store for a ridiculously low price with the sega pac. Didn't find any LD games in the store tho, just LD movies. LD player still works, reads LD and CD fine, but the Sega PAC needs the caps replaced.  :(

I've got quite a few consoles, but I'd have to say the top 3 are my N64DD, Pioneer LaserActive, and a fully boxed Apple Pippin @World.

I see a lot of @Mark systems out there, but rarely see one of the @World, and I don't think I've seen another one with all of the packaging, though I'm sure there are others.

Well damn, I noticed they had raised prices recently on their items, and I've been using them to replace missing or damaged art & manuals for a while now. I guess I better put in one more order to grab whatever I need or may need in the future before the option no longer exists.

Working on adding the last of my PC games to the database, but once I am done I should have passed the 3500 games threshold, and I just recently broke through to less than 100 games left to complete my OG Xbox collection.

Haven't found much so far this month. Snagged a copy of Judge Dredd on Xbox($4), NCAA Football 08 on Xbox($3), Sphinx on Xbox($6), Marble Madness Cart Only for NES($3), and Heroes Quest 3.5+5.25 CIB($4) today hunting at the thrift stores. Got NHL 2002 for Xbox($2.50 shipped), Italian Job for Xbox($4 shipped), and a bulk lot with Fatal Frame 2(Xbox), SF Anniversary(Xbox), FFIX(PS1) and 20 other games for $11 shipped off ebay this weekend.

I'm 36, and I don't think I'll ever get 'too old' for any of this shit. Maybe too blind... but never too old.

Like the others have said this is a bad time to get into game collecting. Too many resellers driving up the price on games these days. I see games I bought for $10-15 being listed on ebay for $100 all the time now. If you insist on collecting right now though, the two systems that have the least attention on them imo would be the original Xbox and the PSP. You can find almost any game you want on those systems for $5-20, with very few exceeding that cost. I think right now there are less than 30 games valued over $20 on the OG Xbox, not sure with PSP.

I don't know if this has anything to do with rarity, but I seem to be the only person on this site with the PC game Voyeur in my collection. Seriously, if you go to the game's entry page, it lists it in only 1 collection - mine. It doesn't seem to be worth much, though, so it can't be too rare. I guess there's just not many people who bought this crap game :p
I have Voyeur in my PC collection but have yet to finish adding all of my PC games, barely started on them tbh. Hard to add PC games as well since there are so many variations, some games came as 3.5, 5.25 and/or cd-rom which can make it somewhat annoying to track a big box pc collection. I think I've not yet added 10 games so far and almost all of them I had to add to the db since my variant wasn't yet added.

I don't think many of my games are all that rare, though I've got so many one or two may be hidden away.

Off the top of my head I'd say maybe Suikoden 2, Sealed Conker 64, Sealed Zelda Windwaker, Sealed Smash Melee, Sealed Castlevania SotN, Sealed Resident Evil 3, and almost all of the 'rare' original Xbox games.

Console wise I know I've got a few. Toshiba Nuon Player, Pioneer LaserActive, N64 DD. But the rarest would be a complete in box Apple Pippin @World with all accessories.

I believe it was just featured in a hidden gems video for Sega Genesis by Metal Jesus Rocks recently. He has a decent following, though probably not influential enough to cause a game to triple in value overnight.

Some one just reposted an obvious dupe, as if no one would have added F-Zero by now...

Good luck with the home hunting, I'm kind of on the fence with the same thoughts. Thinking about slowing down a bit after I complete this original Xbox collection(166 to go) as I'm at the point now where part of my own house hunting is to find a bigger place for all the games. lol It'd be nice if the dog had a back yard too, but it's mostly no room for games.

I've been getting rather tempted myself to sell off some high priced Turbo Duo games... They just sit on the shelf, people are willing to pay ridiculous prices and I never bought the system to play them on anyway LMAO  :o
Count me as one of those interested in buying a TGCD game or two if you sell. I've got a TGCD and no games to test it with, tested a music cd to make sure it at least read discs when I bought it 6 or so years ago, but I've never run across a TGCD game in the wild since.
