you arent the first one with those problems, go to youtube and type "gamestop rant" and you will find a bunch of videos telling the same thing you told here. Also, if they sold you a broken controller, doesnt matter if was the battery cover, they need to replace it for a working one. ABout the update, if you are connecting the kinect it need to update your console in order to read it, you can download the latest update from the official xbox website and save it on a usb or cd. I dont know if with that will solve the kinect update but give it a try. I know that you cant create a account with the internal memory but for a update is a lie because I repaired some xbox back in the day and I always updated them  without any issue.

a completely copy of dynasty warriors.... I dont think this game will be same like those games because I dont see too often from Nintendo make a copy of other games for they first party games. So, maybe them change the tittle, the style and everything in order to fell more for a zelda game. If not, like I said, is a total copy of it.

Folklore= the only reason I can suggest this one is for the battle system because the game sucks in the story.

I haven't played Folklore -but- owning its OST...I can say that (well...if you're like me, at least and a game's music has some importance to you) that the game's soundtrack is phenomenal.

The soundtrack is good, as well the graphics, but the voice acting, the story scenes that you only see poses from each character when they are talking, the story script is really bad, those things let you to stop playing. The game itself had a great potential because is kinda pokemon because you "capture" monsters, but with those flaws makes the game unplayable.

I see you like disgaea (your name tells everything xD ) and be honest with you I never liked strategic rpg, I think the best game with that style is fire emblem, however I played the 3ds version and I get bored really fast. I dont know what thing those game have to get me bored, maybe the gameplay itself that you need to move on squares and not freely.

Let me ask you guys this.  Not sure if you all have played Shenmue and Shenmue 2 but you basically live the life of Ryo along with the main and side missions.  Time and days of the week are very important.  Are there any games like that on the ps3 where you sort of live the life of someone?

To be honest with you, there isnt game like shenmue, is like when you try find a metal gear style game and you can think that splinter cell fits on it but both are completely different, isnt the same feelings. If you want a kinda exploring with puzzles and stuff, Heavy Rain can give you a little of bit of that. Is true that isnt a open world game but you need to investigate and make decisions that will affect the story itself. Is like Indigo Prophecy/Fahrenheit if you played it on ps2/xbox.

DLC= Downloadable content, this means that the game have some extra that you can download and add it to it. Most of them are extra clothes for your character, extra missions or maps. But, back to the original question this are my suggestions:

Rpg
Eternal Sonata (turn based)
Tales of series (grace and xillia)  (action rpg)
Ni No Kuni (turn based)
White knights Chronicles 2 (have the first one also, action rpg)
Demon Souls and Dark Souls (both are action rpg/ open world/ hard has hell xD)
Disgaea 4 (strategic rpg) and Cross X Edge (if you like this type of game this is the version of project x on ps3 with mana kemia, disgaea and other strategic rpg chracters)
Folklore= the only reason I can suggest this one is for the battle system because the game sucks in the story :/. Also is the first rpg for the ps3
Dragon Age (the first one, action rpg)
Kingdom Hearts Hd (remake, action rpg)
Skyrim (open world action rpg)
Fallout (the first one is better than vegas, action rpg with guns)
Diablo 3 (action rpg )
Neptunia series (turn based, I never played but my gf played it and she loves this games)
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning (like fable)
Mass effect and Boderlands (both shotters/rpg)

Open World
Grand theft auto series
Boderlands
Far Cry 3
Sleeping Dogs
Dead Island
Dead Rising
Overlord (if you like pikmin you will love this one)

Are there any differences with the Majesco version or just the label? Either way, very cool of you :D. I've already got the capcom release myself.

Is the same game but is a late release of it. The reason behind this was that Nintendo sold the license to Majesco to re-release Snes games when the Nintendo 64 was in the market, so they release some copies (like 30 I dont know how much) of some games. The difference are the label (low quality) and the back part doesnt have the warning label, instead have that warning but typed in the same plastic. But the game itself is the same
