I don't have a bunch of VG art books but some of them catched my eye, like the Journey AR book, the Okami Complete Works or the Dark Souls Design Works. I documented them on my blog or on my imgur.

They give more fuel to your love for a particular game and make a big credit to the work of the teams behind them, when it's well made it's really worth it !

Emulate it.

Emulating Saturn games is rather difficult.

Use SSF; that's the best Saturn emulator that's currently available.

I remember having a hard time playing Panzer Dragoon Saga on SSF, had to mess with very deep rendering settings and BIOS version switch just to avoid emulator crash on some cutscenes or fights.  Got bad memories as well on losing two or three times more than 1 hour playthrough when I emulated Majora's Mask back then on another emulator. Got another same story with Secret of Mana crashing at the end of a dungeon while we were 3 players having a blast on the game and running the supposed ULTRA stable SNES emulator.

Yes emulators are cool and all, but now I only play on the real thing, it can take months of saving to buy a game like PDS but I prefer that over the frustration emulators can bring. Plus I really love playing with the original controllers on my CRT, nothing emulated compares to it IMO.

I know the Dreamcast has a bunch of crazy rare models. The site linked by scarface illustrates it on the SEGA page. I've seen outrageous prices on some of them on the bay.

Just recieved Street Fighter Zero 3 - 4MB Ram pack

My favorite of the SF series ♥





The 4MB extension cart is required to play this beatiful game.

Awesome Mega Drive shmup where you can steal enemies abilities with your module. Great visuals, music and shooting action, the intro sequence is really impressive for the time.

I'm currently playing through Yoshi's Woolly World and I absolutely love it. It's the most fun I've had with a game in a long time. Highly recommended.

Wait.  When did this come out?

He's probably playing the EU version, which came out a couple of weeks ago.

Yup it was in the end of June.

We've been playing through this game with my wife and it's always a blast to play on co-op, a genuine Yoshi platformer very fun and creative.

Got some Genesis games from a friend today. Burning Force, Revenge of Shinobi, Ranger X and Thunder Force II!
All are loose carts. He had a good deal on them seeing how expensive some of them are individually.

Ranger X is awesome! I especially love the game design variety and the unique controls of this game.
