there are a few local mom and pop shops within an hour in any given direction from where I live. But I Usually only go to one regularly. I never go to gameStop anymore and I won't buy online either.

To be clear, television standards (like PAL) are used by televisions and devices that connect to televisions like video game consoles.
Handheld systems do not use a television standard, which is why there are no PAL 3DS games, because there are no PAL (or NTSC) 3DS systems.
All 3DS systems have a native refresh rate of 60 Hz, no matter what country they were released in.
Yes this is all true but the games released in that region have different clear cases and  artwork (at least the few I have come across)so I think this is the reason wowgek7 wants to classify them separately.I’m not sure if any of this affects the price or rarity of said games but they are different.

They still aren't PAL games, though.  They are European releases.  The full list that snyderec3 even classifies them in that manner.
Yes absolutely I do understand this I was just stating I understand his thought process them being different in some ways and wonder if it would affect value or rarity in some circumstances if they were recognized as being different.

General / Re: Games with great stories.
« on: March 23, 2024, 08:02:36 am »
Legacy of Kain and Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver series this story spans 5 games and 2 console generations with 2 main characters each having a lead role in their own respective game. The first starting with Kain then the second with the Soul Reaver (Raziel) the 3rd game with Kain again the 4th with Raziel until in the final game where you alternate between the two.

Allen Wake is another favorite.

That is a really cool book it's one of my favorites! Lots of good recommendations to look out for. It's been a while since I have given it a read through though. I'm not sure Allen Wake was mentioned (probably was) but I recommend it anyways same goes for Soul Reaver/legacy of Kain series.

I just play to have fun and beat the game not into speedruns.
