It just happens while I'm holding a controller. It's hard to describe but it feels like an unbearable itch that can only be scratched if I press buttons. Sometimes I need to rub the back of the controller with my middle finger too but that one doesn't make me walk off cliffs.

« on: January 16, 2019, 07:33:48 pm »Lotus Juice, the rapper who is on many of the songs for the Persona 4 OST performed live at an Anime con I went to in 2015 and I wish I would have decided to bring my cop of Persona 4 for him to sign. I had multiple opportunities too since he was out mingling with people and enjoying the con when he wasn't performing. Pretty bummed about that.
Ah man, that's a shame. I hope you at least got to meet him, he seems like such a genuinely nice guy and he's so good to his fans.

I hope you get better soon man, that sucks. Do you have a Switch? There are a fair few games that can be played with just a single joy-con. A lot of them aren't very good but hey, they exist.
I haven't have any injuries that have prevented it but something vaguely related that might be amusing, my tourettes makes me cock up in games quite a lot. A very common tic for me is while I'm holding a controller I have to press certain buttons or rub across all the face buttons with my thumb, which uh... causes a few accidents. Don't even get me started on rhythm games.

My opinion has moreorless already been said and will be said, fuck PC culture and everything it stands for, but what was that about Satanists butthurt over Santa? That sounds out of character for them. Was that the CoS or Satanic Temple? Or just a few whiny individuals?

Mine are:
- Copy of Persona 4 I had signed by Laura Bailey!
- Final Fantasy VIII Rinoa framed photo card, I haven't a clue what it actually is but I know it's very rare and valuable and I'm lucky to have it, and FF8 is my baby.
- Final Fantasy VIII limited edition big box
- Limited Final Fantasy VIII soundtrack vinyl
- Complete collection of The House in Fata Morgana games, soundtracks and artwork-related merchandise. They aren't worth that much but they have personal value to me.
- Panzer Dragoon Saga, near-perfect condition (or at least it was when I bought it, it's gotten a little bit weathered somehow :/ )
- Every western-released Persona game, all with big box limited editions wherever applicable, except I don't have the PS1 version of the first game, need to get on that. Dunno about the USA but here in the UK P3, P3F and P4 are ffffucking pricey. And importing P2:EP breaks your bank.
(Actually scratch that it looks like P4's had another print run so the price is down again, but before long it'll shoot right up again)
- Final Fantasy II edition WonderSwan Color (though the screen's been scratched to oblivion thanks to dust, that thing is insanely delicate)
- GameCube version of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Gettin' the TRUE Twilight Princess experience boiii.

Favourite: Switch. Knowing the versatility of the console something feels so insanely satisfying about buying Switch games. I only hope it starts getting more releases that aren't just ports again soon though or I'm gonna fall out of love with it. Honourable mention to Vita, I don't really have a good reason for it, something just feels really good about buying new Vita games for some reason.
Least Favourite: Xbox 360. It was my console of choice at the start of that gen but since I moved to PS3 I've had no interest in playing it anymore and the games I have for it feel worthless now for some reason. Maybe just because it's Microsoft. I'm not moved to buy games for it anymore whatsoever, in fact I've been buying PS3 versions of games I already have on 360 just so I can play them on a console that doesn't feel bleh to play.

Whaaaaaat? Why would you sell something like that to a game shop? That's precious, man. I hope they at least gave you a good deal for it.

Ideally I have in my head a list of games that I really want, and when I can afford it I go on ebay and buy them up. But I am also a reckless spender and if I'm in town I will always wander into a game shop and see if I can spot anything that takes my fancy.

Purely because of how much I love its artstyle I have to say The House in Fata Morgana's artbook.
But there's also a surprisingly unheard of set of books I have called The Sky which is a collection books of Yoshitaka Amano's artwork for the Final Fantasy games and it's naturally gorgeous. Something about them feels really high quality and premium and it feels great to own.

I'm going to buy every game in the world and use them to build a giant monument to my glory, upon which I will sit and force all other gamers to grovel at my feet for the chance to potentially play one of my games. They never will, of course, but they don't need to know that. You guys can watch me play if you want though.
