It really just turned into a collection for me, when I pick up a game, it is to play. Just happened to amass a lot of games that I like over the years, haha.

Classic Video Games / Re: The Nintendo 64 Appreciation Thread

The N64 has a small library for my taste personally, but I still really like it. Lots of quality titles and some of my favorite games series are represented on it; Custom Robo, Paper Mario, Star Fox, Harvest Moon, ETC. Not to mention the great titles Treasure dropped on it. As for controllers, I really detest the original pad. I really like the Hori pad, pretty much what I use exclusively to play N64 these days. Never tried the brawler, or any others. I know the brawler has those wireless pads, waiting to hear the consensus on those as a wireless N64 pad would be nice.

My gaming this year was severely lacking so I'll give this a shot.

1. Dungeon Explorer (Co-op) - TG16
2. Kirby's Dream Land - Gameboy
3. Dragon Quest - Switch

I have NO idea who my Santa is but I just wanted to say THANK YOU!!! Tales of the Abyss has been on my want list for a VERY long time and I can't believe this one is still sealed!! From the Abyss is one of those games that I really didn't know much about before adding it to my wishlist and honestly kinda forgot I added it lol; but I was super excited to see it when I opened the package. I LOVE getting games that I don't know anything about, its just really fun popping in a game where you don't know what to expect! I cant wait to get started on both of these!!!  OH and I also got a super awesome lanyard with a bunch of Final Fantasy sprites on it!!  I really wish I was able to make the stream this year, it would have been fun getting to share these awesome gifts with everyone on camera!
Thank you again so much whoever you are!

Stoked to hear you liked my picks! I had a note prepared, but I forget to throw it in the package before I shipped it. Enjoy Justin, happy holidays!

For a little added discussion talk, what are some toys that you are dying to get for yourself? And I'm not really talking like you had dumb money and you could just buy all the crazy expensive Hot Toys Figures, but more stuff you are actually wanting to get, but maybe you haven't found them out in the wild or the prices you want.

I'd love to own the RIOBOT figures for Jehuty and Anubis from Zone of the Enders.

The Lighting collection line has its issues, but overall they are very solid figures for the price point. Great proportions and detail for the most part to the original suits, sans some bad apples. Hasbro avoids the roided out muscle look that BoA always seem to go for as well, which I'm grateful for.

My package is behind my desk for now, although the name on the package gave it away I do believe, haha. Looking forward to opening it later. Also, in SS tradition for me I shipped my package without the note I wrote in it of course, I never learn.

I still love playing and hunting for retro games. Prices are just crazy right now, I've actually sold a good chunk of games because of this. I've condensed both my collection and wish list down to only what I really want and plan to play. Trimmed the fat if you will. Doing this I've found when it comes to older titles I have almost everything I could ever want, and for the few I don't the games are so crazy priced I can't justify buying them.
