General / Atari buying Digital Eclipse

Atari buying Digital Eclipse. I'm not sure what to think of it. I feel Digital Eclipse would not be able to remake all the great games that they have ones they are part of Atari SA where they would be stuck remasyering remaking and compiling Atari games. They did Atari 50, and it was great, but now what.

I was looking through the database and we have some games called dynablaster and dyna blaster.
This includes instances where a website like gamefaqs notes down dyna blaster and we have it as dynablaster, and even the box looks more as if the name should be dyna blaster

According to Wikipedia, there should be a DS and PC version of: Garfield Show, The: Threat of the Space Lasagna

So far these releases have mystified me, and I think they are not in the database yet.

Why do we call these "For Display purposes only" and not something more akin to Only on Playstation Edition.

Video Game Database Discussion / Rom² Karaoke PC Engine CD

Hey all,

I was watching Chronturbo on youtube and it was discussed that there are two series on the PC-Engine CD called Rom² Karaoke.
One was published by NEC Avenue, and one by Victor Musical Industries
Both had five volumes each.
However, in our database, we only have one of those series being cataloged, whereby information of both series is merged.

I'll try to make sense of it this week!

For my 2021 resolution, I want to pick up an atari 2600.
I didn't grow up with this system and therefore have no idea which games are good and which ones are bad.
If you could recommend one or two games, that would be awesome!

I have added the last NUON game that was missing in our database:
Crayon Shin-Chan 3
I have put this in the database as: Nuon - Crayon Shin-Chan 3 [KOR]

But I'm not sure if I have to put [KOR] at the end of the title. It was only released in South Korea so I have put it at the end of the title but I'm not sure if it is correct.
I'm looking forward to some clarification.

Hey!
I have been changing a lot of games that have the article at the beginning of the title and I stumbled upon: de Blob.
Now: 'de' is the Dutch article for 'the'. Wouldn't it make sense to change the title to:  Blob, de       or Blob, De (not sure if a capital would be needed for the de).
If I get greenlight I will change all of them from 'de Blob' to Blob, de.

Is it neccesary to call the normal release: Standard Edition?
I feel it is rather redundant, even when there is a Signature Edition.
It is not labeled as Standard Edition on the box.

Hopefully somebody can shine their light on it
