That would be cool if the rumored 3D Donkey Kong from the Odyssey team was real.
That would be insanely awesome.

I bet there's a new F-Zero,  a new Donkey Kong, a Mother 3 official release, a new Chibi Robo, new Golden Sun, a new Punch-Out, a new Kid Icarus, a new Pikmin, a new Sin & Punishment, a new Mario Baseball, a new overhead Zelda game...
just kidding, none of that will happen, but I'd take just one of those things and be pretty darn happy.

I ended up getting the month free trial. So far I've had a lot of fun with Warped Kart Racing, but I need to look at the whole Apple Arcade lineup before deciding if it's worth the monthly fee or not.

I've been pondering heavily whether or not I should get Apple Arcade for my Mac since this new Warped Racers game dropped; it brings together all the old animation domination cartoons like King of the Hill, Family Guy and American Dad into one kart racing game. I was just wondering if anyone could (or couldn't) vouch for the Apple Arcade service and it's quality... or lack thereof.

General / Re: What are your opinions on the Lego games?

I grew up with LEGO Racers on the PC and I absolutely loved it! I also played through LEGO Star Wars 1 and 2 on GameCube and thought they were pretty fun as well. I think the only other game in the series I've actually played is LEGO Harry Potter Years 1-7

Off Topic / Re: Johnny Depp Or Leonardo Dicaprio?

Johnny Depp was definitely a better actor to me when he was younger, I absolutely love Edward Scissorhands. I never really liked DiCaprio (or Brad Pitt) until I saw Once Upon A Time in Hollywood. These days though, I think both are terrific actors, and I'd pretty much watch absolutely anything they are in.

General / Re: Games/Series you love, but also don't...

The Fire Emblem series - I really enjoyed Path of Radiance and the Game Boy Advance games, but anything on the 3DS and Switch were awful in my eyes; they feel like they cater to that weird anime fan culture that I know nothing about, yet I kept playing them thinking they would get better.
Side scrolling Metroid games - while I really love Metroid 2 and Super Metroid, stuff like Fusion and Zero Mission I could never get into. Metroid Dread has got to be the most overrated game in the series, as I found it to be a boring, poorly made Metroid game. It was an absolute chore to play through, but I kept thinking it was going to get better; it never did. In this day and age, there are Metroid style 2d games that are actually better than Metroid. Hopefully Prime 4 is as good as the first three Prime games.

General / Re: What would you do if you lost your entire collection?

I've thought about this a lot. Personally, I think I'd just quit cold turkey. That being said though, I'd still appreciate the art of collecting... It's really hard to say. These days I'm not a HUGE collector, but I'd still be devastated by the amount of time and effort and love I know I put in, just to be simply whisked away in a moment's notice. I know I'd never be able to collect back what I currently have, but part of me would be relieved that I had an actual excuse to get rid of all this stuff, strange as it sounds.

General / Re: Games you almost Finished but gave up on.

Castlevania Bloodlines - I got to the final battle against the funky purple cooter eater thing with John Morris but I ended up giving up and never going back. I played this after I saw that the countless YouTubers and retro gamers were sucking it off. I played it when I was on a Castlevania kick, right after I played through the original trilogy, Super Castlevania 4 and Rondo, and my God, after those games, I just thought it was an overrated piece of crap.
Splatterhouse 3 - I play this one maybe once a year or ever other year. I always get really far, then I get frustrated and go back to the original or the second game which are much better in my opinion.

General / Re: Games That You Want Sequels To
« on: April 13, 2022, 07:15:43 pm »
I think an Ape Escape sequel is long overdue. Burningdoom mentioned Brutal Legend, a sequel to that would be insanely awesome, especially seeing how great Psychonauts 2 turned out.A new Gauntlet game would be terrific also.

lmao fuck every single one of the hollywood elite
And all of the people that worship them too.

General / Re: You guys ever get stuck in like a gaming rut?
« on: March 21, 2022, 07:14:03 pm »
I've been in a rut for like two years. Ever since I bought my home, I thought having a really functional and awesome game room would be my number one priority, but here I am now with a very nice game/entertainment room and over the last few months I've barely touched most of it. I've played several titles and whatnot but gaming doesn't offer the same escapism as it did when I lived at home with my parents. I find much more enjoyment out of doing little home improvement projects, cooking, and doing yard work, strange as it sounds.
I'm honestly really happy about this as I would probably go broke buying and collecting like I used to given the prices of most games these days, I've really just tried to enjoy what I have and sold off some of the stuff I don't care about.

Well I have a bunch of big box PC games but I haven't had a Windows PC for ages, since I switched for Mac back in 2008.
I still have a bunch of old Computer games that don't run on my Mac at all. I've gotten lots of them to work via Wine, Dos Box and Parallels, but there are a few that I can't get to run like the old Galaxy of Arcade games.

I played through it once on Wii U and once on the actual cartridge when I got it a few years later. I've been wanting to play it again but I remember Mother 3 being the far superior game, so if I revisit the series, I'll probably give Mother 3 priority. I started playing EarthBound Beginnings, but never really got into it aside from the music.

I've bought some games for the Turbo Grafx/PC Engine CD despite not owning the CD attachment, I had intentions of getting the attachment but I don't think it's justifiable for me right now. I also own Fatal Fury for the MVS and Metal Gear for the MSX, neither of which I have the means to play the original cartridges but I've played on other platforms.
