Everyone should check out Empire Eden. The art style is phenomenal, and the gameplay looks very well done. They aren't doing very well at the moment with the Kickstarter though. Maybe they can get a boost somehow.

My brother just supported the Cheetahmen II: The Lost Levels Kickstarter. $60 for the game, and he intends on never playing it. I can't say I blame him though.

Video Game Database Discussion / Re: More Missing Consoles

I know no one will really care about this console, but can we get the Teachatron added? It was produced by JC Penny in 1984.

VGCollect for Android / Re: Android Developers?

I've been trying to learn, but unfortunately at this time I am not that good.

Yea it definitely is strange, but at the same time without those same people like you stated above thrift stores would be awful. Who would donate the rare video games if we didn't have these idiots?

Thanks!

I never had the chance to own/play Tomba 2 yet...how is it compared to the 1st one?

You're also correct about their rarity sealed...I'd imagine that, after buying both of them sealed to send me...his wallet probably fits into his back-pocket a lot easier than it did before XD

To be perfectly honest I've never been able to find a copy of Tomba! 2. It has eluded me thus far. That and Tail Concerto are the two I have been trying to find cheap over the years.

I absolutely love Tomba. Tales of Destiny II is pretty good too. They are extremely rare especially sealed. That sucks about your friend though. At least he is clean now.

Wow quite the price for a ton of forgotten media. I hope they do well reviving the shows though. A lot of those shows would do well with a reboot.

Yea that's what I have seen as well. I find them often, but they usually want the moon for them. I do like collecting, but I tend to collect on a very limited budget.

Thanks for the shoutout Matt!

As for my collecting habits, I collect any and all systems. I even collect foreign games. My prized possession, maybe, is a sealed Dendy system. Sadly, the smallest collection I have of the major systems is my SNES collection. I think I only have about 20 games for it.

Welcome, James!  Glad to have more folks join the site and be involved with the forums.

How are the headsets at your company?  Wired/wireless?

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. As for the company I work for it is Andrea Electronics. We make predominantly wired headsets but also one Bluetooth earpiece. The latest release we have is our gaming/music line known as the SuperBeam series. We've taken our patents collected over the years working with the military and finally applied it to a headset. We've completely eliminated the need for a boom microphone, and we've applied our filters to eliminate background audio and solely focus on your voice. Pretty cool technology and I was brought on board to help the headset enter the gaming market. It has been pretty tough so far, but I feel like we are making positive steps forward slowly.

But back to the site. I've worked on the Intellivision section of the site and that should be just about done. Next I think I'll try to do the Atari 2600, but I'm not quite sure.

It is really hard to say I mean we ave Steam, GreenManGaming, Amazon, and Direct2Drive(Gamefly) that provide instant games. If we were to add all four plus every smaller site it would get highly cluttered. I feel Steam deserves its own spot, but perhaps the other games should just be considered "PC"?

I use OnLive all the time. I absolutely love. Latency is not an issue, but I have Xfinity High Speed Internet so that may be why. It allows my average computer to play some pretty nice games that I would otherwise not be able to play. I currently have about 18 games on the service last time I checked.
