Great topic,

I would have to say the Sega R360 would be at the top of my list to recommend.
$5AUD for 1 credit at the old casino in Melbourne (late 1990's).

If you see one out in the wild do what ever you can to jump in it.
It was a great (dizzying) experience. lol

Random clip for reference.

It goes into here:

The name you should use is Hanimex Programmable Video System.
Thank you.

Hi, Sorry 2 parts to this

Last weekend i pick up an old Hanimex Advanced Programmable Video System (HMG 1392, Code No. 75.1109) also known as the Radofin Advanced Programmable Video System and a ton of games for it. I'm trying to add it to the db but I'm not sure if it needs its own platform selector or to use the Hanimex 1292 platform category or to use the dedicated console selection, It seems to me as a clone system from the 1292 line with a different revision number as it is the Australian version(wikipedia link).

Also when adding the games if there not in the db should it be listed as the Hanimex, Number of game, then the game name? or just the Game Name, Number or suggestions please.

What do you think as I'm a bit puzzled?
See the images in the imgur link for some pics.

Hi everyone,
I just added 4 games to my collection today and noticed that once i added them i went back to the item,

Selected the "Your Stuff" menu item,
Under the "Collection" header selected the "Edit" button (the line that holds my description)

and the purchase date seem to not show up in the (modal) popup, once i re-entered the purchase date again it would show up. But if i left the site and came back, the date was gone again.  Tested on Firefox and opera.

I exported my collection to check the csv file and all the dates where present. (Thank god)

Thanks and hope i didn't stuff up the description.

General / What is the most regretful thing in your collection?

Just curious ???,

Whats the one item you have in your collection that makes you think "WHY did i buy that or "That was a mistake"? Mine would be this Double Dragon plug in and play joystick crap (https://vgcollect.com/item/172371) that plays the NES version of double dragon.

I got it from k-mart 2 years ago on a boxing day sale reduced from $30AUD to about $10 (and i still think i over paid) every time i look at it I think to myself what a joke.

Show me what you got..

Site Feedback / Feature request: calendar view option
« on: June 01, 2020, 11:14:07 pm »
Hi gang,

I'm going to try my best to describe the idea i have. Hopefully I'm not repeating someone else idea. If so sorry.

I think it would be nice if there was an option to see what a user has added for a day/week/month/year which they can select from a calendar.
i.e
Sort of like I select May 2 2020 from a calendar, The output would be "On May 2 2020 you added "XXXXXX" items to your collection" Displayed either in a thumbnail grid or a list.
Or
"For the month of May 2020 you added "XXXXXX"
"For the year 2020 you added "XXXXXX"

but have the output display the date information from the date we entered in to the add item screen. For example i keep receipts for everything i buy, so i add a Sega Dreamcast console to my collection on the 2nd May 2020 but I've entered that i purchased it on June 2 2000, i would like the calendar to reference June 2 2000. Or maybe have it output both dates. Purchased and Entered.  Even have the notes we added to the item be displayed as well.

This option could be placed in the About section for every user where the "Platform Breakdown" screen is(just an idea).

What does everyone think?

Regards,
Diehard

Site Feedback / Issue today with submitting new items
« on: March 08, 2020, 05:34:28 am »
Hi and Hello,
I run into an issue today while submitting 2 new items,  once i had completed the form i was greeted with none of the descriptions being shown or the pictures either.

These are the links:
https://vgcollect.com/item/175652
https://vgcollect.com/item/175653

i suspect that the image sizes might have been to big (4mb x3) so i photoshoped the pictures (400kb x3),  edited the page and resubmitted the pics.
Just thought I'd make people aware of this, not sure it was a bug or server problem etc etc.

Regards.
