Just came back from my montly flea market/pawn shop roundup and today was an unusually good day. Decided to pick up that Sonic because I lost my old cart and then picked up some PS2 games, the real gem here is that Haunting Grounds, probably my best find yet. A friend of mine also found all the Jak games on the PS2 for 15€, the lucky bastard.

Slow month, unlike the past two months I don't have a bunch of money saved up so I can't just go on a shopping binge. All I got so far is this copy of Forbidden Siren, not only is it a great game I don't often see around the thing about this is that it's actually a promo copy, pretty neat. I don't know how much one of those is worth, probably nothing much but I never owned one before so I decided to get it.

I just I get to hit up the flea market at least once this month and find something good.

Site Feedback / Different region subforums on the marketplace

I think that having a different subforum for each main region within the marketplace forum would be a great help for people looking to do trades over this website because this way people already have a decent idea of how much a trade is going to cost them on shipping.

This is more like 10 games I want to get the most right now rather than games I want the most overall because in that case I'd simply have a list of all 100$+ games I want I'll never be able to afford.

1. Shinobi III
2. Chrono Trigger
3. Silent Bomber
4. Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
5. Ys: The Oath in Felghana
6. Strider 2
7. Okami
8. Panzer Bandit
9. Trap Gunner
10. Klonoa

Dicing Knight and Judgement Silversword are by far the best games on the system in my opinion if you can afford them.

GUYS I BOUGHT SKYRIM FOR PC FOR $2

AND THE KEY WAS USED

SO I WASTED TWO BUCKS ON A GAME THAT DIDN'T WORK

... what, I figured I'd take a gamble. :P

Was it a physical copy? If so just get it from Steam when the next sales come around and you got yourself a nice boxed game to keep in the shelf for 2$ I guess.

General / Re: Collection Achievements thread

Reading the initial thread post I was thinking that achievements badges would be cool. There's always milestone achievements like 50, 100 NES games and so on. I was thinking more outside of the box.

Dream Weaver: Entry you created is in 10 Wish Lists.
Phone Home: Remove Atari 2600 game ET from your collection.
Wish-a-Pawn-a-Star: Someone contacts you about an item in your Sell list that is in their Wish list.
Got to catch 'em all: Pokémon Red, Blue and Yellow are in your collection, complete in box.
Domo Arigato: Added a Japanese console to collection.
If You Build It: Entry you created is in 20 collections.
Revision-a-tron: Submitted an Edit to entry created within the past 4 hours.
Day One: Add item to collection on the same day of its release.

Those actually sound pretty cool.

Same here, didn't feel like leaving empty handed so picked those games up, ended up being a pretty good deal (once I was done cleaning those game gear games of course). I got up really early today so I managed to hit up the flea market before the police arrived and the people with the stolen good had to run away so there were plenty of things to choose from, this guy I bought MGS2 from had a whole bunch of games but many of them were bootlegs (I saw Pokemon Jade for the first time in many years) and most good games he had were in absolutely atrocious condition, I mean really I've never seen PS2 games in that poor a condition. Also found Grandia II for the PS2 there but sadly the box was empty, broke my heart. Dog's Life I actually found at a pawn shop afterwards.

Just went to a flea market today, first time at that one, managed to find some stuff. Some guy sold me that Game Gear lot and Street Fighter II for 5 euros. Was it worth the money? Yes. Was it worth fearing for my health as I waded through a pile of grime encrusted garbage that looked like it had come directly from a garbage can and having to furiously wash my hands with sanitizer once I got home? I'm not sure. But hey, game chasing ain't for the faint of heart and weak of will.

Wii
- Baroque (was $2)

That's a cool find right there, granted it's not the rarer Saturn or PSX version but still a nice find. And you can't beat that price. That ChuLip looks like an interesting game too.

I'm starting to think a physical copy of Ys Origin is impossible to find. There's supposed to have been one released in Japan only but I'm really starting to doubt it ever existed by now.

Panzer Bandit, there's only a few listings on ebay but nothing below like 35$.

Also... added a couple more games to my PS2 list today: Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone and Hot Shots Golf 3. I'm now sitting at 98 PS2 games!

Man Demon Stone's cover looks really cool, that's a really nice find.

March has only begun but I've already made all my purchases for the month.
I Got:
Final Fantasy VI
Valkyrie Profile
Legend of Mana
Shin Megami Tensei II
Crash Bandicoot (Platinum)

The first three were fairly cheap, VP and LoM were 30% off the time I got em. I got SMT2 at an auction for 7$ so that was a great deal. Crash Bandicoot was given to me by a friend who got a black label copy and said I could have the Platinum one he already had.

Don't have a picture with me right now but I got
Alundra - 15 euros
Akuji the Heartless - 5 euros
ChuChu Rocket! - 5 euros
Metal Gear Solid 3 - 5 euros
Battle Engine Aquila - 5 euros
Silent Line: Armored Core - 5 euros
Final Fantasy XII - 10 euros
Dark Chronicle - 25 euros
Ace Combat: Squadron Leader - 5 euros
Ace Combat: The Belkan War - 5 euros

85 euros in total, went way, way overboard this month, never again. Really happy with what I got but I'll have to set a very strict budget for the next few months to make up for last week's binge.

Ouch, I admit that in one week, it's rough :P

Welcome, by the way!
Thanks.

Well it was more over the course of 3 weeks really, it's just that this past week I ordered Alundra, Final Fantasy XII, the Ace Combat games and Dark Chronicle and that little binge was what really made a dent on my finances. Especially that Dark Chronicle, that one was expensive, but I love the game so much.
