Final Fantasy VI is the soundtrack that got me into opera as a whole.

"Oh my hero, so far away now.
Will I ever see your smile?
Love goes away, like night into day.
It's just a fading dream. "

Back in the glory days of Classic Hollywood, people cared about film as an artistic medium. Walt Disney was an artist before he was a businessman. He said "I make money to make movies." His successors clearly forgot about that part. Once Iger took over Disney, mainstream Hollywood stopped caring about art and began to focus purely on money.

While playing Fire Red, I realized I loved it's challenge and felt in retrospect Gen VI just holds your hand.

Rise of Skywalker - I feel this perfectly captures the feel of the Original Trilogy without feeling too derivative like Force Awakens did. I love that it's shot on 35mm as opposed to digital.

Detective Pikachu - Also shot on 35mm, this may very well be the Citizen Kane of video game movies. As a lifelong gamer and film buff, I loved how the two mediums came together in this one film.

I also went to reissues of The Wizard of Oz, My Fair Lady, To Kill a Mockingbird, Ben-Hur, Howl's Moving Castle, Nausicaa, My Neighbor Totoro, Alien and Meet Me in St. Louis. These reissues made up 70% of my moviegoing this year, and reminded me of how creatively and artistically bankrupt Hollywood is. I'm glad to have given up on the MCU after Black Panther.

I decided to drop out.

SNES Mini: Absolutely the best mini console. Star Fox 2 was the cherry on top.

Mega Drive Mini (Japan): Has lots of rare games that this machine preserves. Also, the PAL versions of Landstalker are 60hz on this machine.

NES Mini: Lineup while solid should have had Dracula's Curse instead of Simon's Quest

PS Mini: Haven't opened this one yet

I found a Shiny Spheal in Emerald.

A device that can play 2600, NES, Genesis, SNES, N64, PS2, PS1, Laserdisc, VHS, Switch, PS4, DVD, Blu-Ray, Gamecube, GBA and Dreamcast all in one.

I'm in as well.

The SNES is my single favorite console, with games like Final Fantasy VI, Chrono Trigger, Super Metroid and Terranigma cementing this.

I am trying to play every mainline Final Fantasy without emulation.

I-PS1 Origins
II-PS1 Origins
IV-PS1 Chronicles
XV-Xbox One
