Awesome news!  You guys probably remember the site that was polling for interest in a physical edition of Class of Heroes 2G for the PS3 - they said if they reached a certain number of interested buyers (I wanna say 5k?  maybe 7k?) they would make them & sell them for $40/each.  And as some of you may remember, the last time we checked in on that poll it was nowhere close to that.  Well they've decided that since many of the people on their forums that were interested indicated they would pay a bit more if necessary to get the physical copy, they will produce them after all and sell them for $50 + $4 shipping each.  I'm definitely OK with that!  :D

They're opening up sales next week & will keep them open a month, at the end of that month they cut them off & however many they sold is how many they'll make.  No more ever, that's it!  So if you want one (or two, or in Kenny's case 7 :P) then you'll want to GET ON THAT!  Here's the site link where you can read the details for yourself & also put your email address down to be contacted when preorders open.

Very happy!  :D

Wow, this summer really isn't going easy on my wallet.  :'(
Can somebody help clarify things for me? Do we need to sign up for the mailing list thing in order to be able to preorder a copy? Are we ordering the game through their website and using another method to pay?

Only 33 more items and I hit 9000!!!  :o

Wow, how exactly do you remember all of the games you have when you're out? I feel like I'd end up buying stuff I already have at least once or twice if I had that much stuff.
I don't have 9000 but almost 4000 items and I use a collecting website to track it all. If I think of the name I will post a link  ;) :D ;D

I see what you did there. ;) Though that option doesn't really work well for people who don't have data plans on their phones.  :-\

That's a seriously good deal.  :o Too bad Persona Q isn't available for preorder yet.  :'(

Ditto for that Battle Princess game, but I'll pick it up anyway.  Just would much prefer a physical copy.

EDIT:  And thanks for the heads up on the other games, abe.  :)  I'll get those added soon - well, not the PC game, I don't follow PC stuff enough these days to stay on top of it and that would be opening a whole new can of worms.  Gonna stick to console/handheld stuff for this thread.  ;)

No problem. :) I just figured I'd mention Corpse Party's PC version since North America has already gotten two of the PSP games (although again, digital only). It's a shame that so many awesome upcoming releases are digital only. Then again, I shouldn't really complaining about Senran Kagura: Bon Appétit, since Xseed said a while back that it was unlikely that it would ever get localized at all.  :-\

You can also get Ivy the Kiwi? on the DS, it's great on a handheld. Also, Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus is a much better version than Accent Core, since it has more characters and comes with a soundtrack CD. For me, Accent Core Plus wasn't that much more difficult to find than Accent Core.

Thanks - I prefer games on consoles over handhelds when given the choice, but I probably would pick up Ivy on DS...if it were available anywhere remotely close to me.   :-\  According to Gamestop's stock checker, it's not.  Speaking of which, they list a grand total of one store within 100 miles of me that has a used copy of Guilty Gear on the Wii.  From my understanding they don't distinguish between the normal & Plus versions in their inventory, so it could be either...but honestly, I'll be happy if it's just complete.  I'm heading to that store tomorrow (it's only about 30 mins away) so I'll find out soon enough...

Good luck, I hope you manage to find a copy of Accent Core Plus.  :D

I'd have to say Earthbound is way too expensive now. It was bad enough a few years when the cart by itself was still under $100, and you'd spend more than $300 for a complete copy. Now it's just nuts.  :'( I could import a couple of complete copies of Mother 2 for what it would cost to get just an Earthbound cart by itself.

Xseed just announced a bunch of stuff, though unfortunately it all seems to be digital only.  :(

Corpse Party (The enhanced PC version)
Brandish: The Dark Revenant (PSP, yes a new PSP game in 2014, because Xseed is cool like that)
Senran Kagura: Bon Appétit (PS Vita, known as Dekamori Senran Kagura in Japan)

Both Corpse Party and Brandish are supposed to be released some time later this year, and the new Senran Kagura is supposed to be out next winter.

I'm on Steam and PSN.

PSN: AvocadoGazpacho

You seem pretty cool + we seem to also have pretty similar tastes in gaming...so, I'll be sending you a PSN friend invite (from "disgaeniac") shortly  ;D

Yaaay! Now my friends list is slightly less barren.  ;D

I have been picking up obscure Wii games like mad lately, and still my wanted list keeps growing out of control!   :o  From various message boards (some from this thread ;) ), YouTube vids, etc. I have compiled this list that I'm on the lookout for:

Arc Rise Fantasia
Baroque
Blast Works
Calling
Castle of Shikigami III
Castlevania Judgement
Deadly Creatures
Excitetruck
Fortune Street
Fragile Dreams
Ghost Squad
Guilty Gear XX Accent Core
Ivy the Kiwi?
Ju-On
Little King’s Story
Lost In Blue: Shipwrecked
Mad World
Mushroom Men: Spore Wars
No More Heroes 2
Onechanbara
One Piece Unlimited Adventure
Opoona
Phantom Brave: We Meet Again
Pikmin (not really a hidden gem but difficult to find in my area at least)
Roogoo Twisted Towers
Rune Factory: Frontier
Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love
Samurai Showdown Anthology
Silent Hill: Shattered Memories
Sin & Punishment: Star Successor
Sky Crawlers: Innocent Aces (the cover art to this game blows - I think I passed on it already out of town not knowing what it was  :( )
Soul Calibur Legends
SSX Blur
Tatsunoko vs. Capcom
Trauma Team
Ultimate Shooting Collection

I think I'm gonna have to take back most of the bad things I've said about the Wii over the years.  :P

If you like RPGs, then there's lots to be had on the PS2. I would highly recommend Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, Persona 3 FES, Persona 4, Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne, and Final Fantasy XII, just to name a few. If you like fighting games, Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus is pretty awesome.

After finishing Hyperdimension Neptunia Mk.2 yesterday, I decided to get back to playing Mugen Souls on the PS3. I'm a few hours in now and quite enjoying it. It's not perfect, but it's got some really interesting and unique game mechanics. I also decided to start Killer is Dead after picking up the PS3 version on Monday. Wow, what an awesome game. I'm really liking the art and music. It's the quality I'd expect from a SUDA51 title.

Did you get/are you getting Mugen Souls Z?

I've got both MS games in my backlog (no need to feel bad for 'em though...they've got LOTS of company there)!

I do plan on getting Mugen Souls Z in the future, but unfortunately there's too many other things I need first, especially since this year has been packed with great releases. Gameplay-wise, Mugen Souls plays similarly to Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory and Hyperdimension Neptunia Mk.2, though Mugen Souls focuses on the concept of "moe", in and outside of battle quite a bit. The brand of humor is also the same sort of thing you'd expect from any other Compile Heart game.

When you say it's HDMI only, does that mean we're stuck with HDMI for both video and audio output?

Yeah, it's one of my dogs.

Thanks everyone.

I'm sorry to hear that. Losing a pet is rough. They're part of the family. I had to have my cat put down a couple of years ago due to a disease, and I know what it's like to go through that kind of loss.
