Region listing

I've noticed some places, like Wiki, list release dates as Japan, US and PAL. While other sites list each individual country of origin. Should we perhaps be listing [EU] listings as [PAL] instead? Any feedback from our European friends on this would be extremely welcomed.

I'd curious as this as well. I've never fully understood all regional listings. I also know that there are definitely some smaller regional releases such as Canada and Brazil.

NA doesn't mean US... technically Canada and Mexico fall under north america too...

Yup, which is why a lot of our newer games have French all over them, ha. There are some "Canadian" variant packages though.

Exactly. The NES had some Canadian releases with NES-**-CAN serial numbers. This leads me to think we should have NES [US], [CA] instead of NES [NA].

This seems to be the biggest hurdle of the site. Seems like we'll have to do this on a console by console basis...
