SNES turned 30 years old recently.

The Super Nintendo Entertainment System turned 30 years old recently, I have always found interesting that the console don't have development stories quite as complete like some other Nintendo consoles (NES, GB, N64), considering how important is the console for a lot of players.

Still, I can say something about it that hasn't been repeated multiple times? maybe, but I want to just make it as clear as... the console is certainly one of the most memorable and with a pretty great library of games with some heavy names that are still popular nowadays.

What are your favorite games for it?

I always loved:

- Konami in-general (Axelay, Gradius, Parodius, Contra 3, Super Castlevania lV, Tiny Toons, Animaniacs, Biker Mice from Mars, The Legend of the Mystical Ninja, more)
- Donkey Kong Country
- Mortal Kombat 2/3
- Megaman 7
- Megaman X
- Clay Fighter
- Claymates
- Earthworm Jim 1 + 2.

Just like another consoles, I hope people still remember the SNES with a smile in the future.
I always have problems learning English, but I still love to talk a lot; I also enjoy being kind to everyone for no reason; if people can hate for no reason, then I can love; after everything I have gone through, I found a little peace.

Definitely one of my favorite consoles ever. There’s so many great games it’s hard to narrow down a list.
At the top of my favorites for the SNES, in no particular order:

Final Fantasy III (VI)
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
Super Metroid
All 3 of those are still on my personal list of top 10 favorite games of all time.

The rest of the best:
Super Castlevania IV
Super Baseball 2020
Axelay
Actraiser
Contra III
Mega Man 7
Mortal Kombat II
Donkey Kong Country
Super Double Dragon
Super Street Fighter II
TMNT IV: Turtles in Time
WWF Royal Rumble

I really wish I had bought Sunset Riders for it back in the day…it may have been on this list if I had discovered it earlier in life.

I was always a Sega kid and had a Genesis and Game Gear at the time, but there were a few SNES games that I got to play at friends homes that were pretty awesome.

 - Ninja Turtles IV
 - Donkey Kong Country
 - Act Raiser
 - Killer Instinct
 - Mario World
 - F-Zero
 - Mario Kart

You'll notice not too many 3rd party and that's because I played them all on Genesis and tie them to that system in my head. Still, even with just that handful of games, the SNES was a memorable gaming platform.
