I just found out about this, while looking up info on Skyrim. I posted about it on the Facebook page, but thought it might as well be worth a forum post too.
Thanks to DOS emulation, and the awesomeness of Bethesda, they have released both The Elder Scrolls: Arena and The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall as free downloads on their official Elder Scrolls website. Of course, in order to play them, you need a DOS emulator program, like DOSbox. Still, it's nice to see a company keeping the history of a franchise alive.
