End of Month Stats for February 2012

February is over and we are on to March, that means it's time for more stats! From the looks of things we put up some pretty good numbers considering this is the shortest month of the year, lets take a look at them.

Users

This month we broke the 3,000 members threshold and then proceeded to trample on it a bit more, adding 434 new users to the site! This puts us up to 3,397 total register users, pretty excellent. We even met some new folks on the forums too, which is always a welcome sight.

• Daily Average: 15

Items

Speaking of milestones, we also passed the 21,000 items mark in the database and we are on the verge of hitting 22,000 items too.  I'm sure we would have gotten it too if we had a few more days in this month. That makes 2 months in a row with over 1,000 new games added to the database, good job guys!

• Total Items in Database: 21,960


• New Items: 1,086


• Daily Average: 37


• Edits: 3,175


• Daily Average Edits: 109

Collections

The collection numbers saw a big jump this month! Our users have added a total of 15,994 items to their collections in February, that's an average of 564 per day, amazing. That puts the total of items in collections up to 113,165!

• Total Items in Collections: 113,165


• Daily Average: 564


• Total Items in Wishlists: 5,290


• Items For Sale/ Trade: 246

That's it for the stats this month, those are some pretty big numbers. Thanks for everything guys and keep up the good work!

I actually have been tracking the stats in Excel for the last 5 months, but we just started writing up posts about them starting mid December.

As for the stats, the number of items added to collections per day is a lot bigger than I expected 0.0

The way I look at it is it comes out to a new user adding most of their collection to their profile every day, which is awesome.

I'm glad that the site is going so well, I for one love taking my collection on the go, So nice job on the site. Also I will try to get on these forums more, I always get on them but hardly post anything. Time to start posting responses.
