Apologies if this is the wrong place for this.

With the Analogue Pocket both rolling out to those of us who didn’t get into the initial smaller batch, the accessories getting expanded to include more physical platforms as well as the second core greatly expanding the devices usability (to put it mildly) perhaps some reorganization is called for?

Currently the handheld and the dock are both listed as Gameboy hardware, which was accurate at launch but incomplete at present. The Game Gear cartridge adapter is listed simply as hardware with the description Analogue Pocket Adapter (though the part number and barcode denote the specific item). With three more adapters on the way though this could cause confusion.

Perhaps the pocket could use its own category?

Thank You

The Analogue Pocket is an unofficial Game Boy release, so hardware and accessories should be placed in those corresponding categories with that Release Type option selected.

At the time of posting, there is only one Analogue Pocket Adapter (Game Gear) which does have an existing entry. When others release and are submitted to the database, their name formatting can rely on an entry name descriptor such as Analogue Pocket Adapter (Game Gear), so long as the actual product name follows the same stylization as the aforementioned item.

Here is the item Pocket Adapter for Game Gear, for reference.
