Whats wrong with competitive SSB?  I have played in a tournament at my local store,  I failed miserably (Won the practice rounds and then was one of the first ones out when it started:/), but I had a lot of fun!  I have enjoyed all the games in the series with melee being my favorite.

There's nothing wrong with it, it's just that the game is so much more simple than the average fighting game that it's a bit less interesting to watch, and less impressive to watch the stronger players.
