Anybody have any food or gaming rituals for today? Black friday surfing?  Any good gaming?  Dark or white meat? What is your family traditional haps on the day of thanks.

What foods do you look forward to most?   I personally love pumpkin pie best.

Have you divulged into an animal of the genus name from the Ancient Greek μελεαγρις, meleagris meaning "guineafowl".  Aka Turkey.  The animal we used to trace our hands to draw in elementary school. Until Shannon Dupras stole our Lunchables.

Domain: Eukaryota
Kingdom: Animalia
Phylum: Chordata
Class: Aves
Order: Galliformes
Family: Phasianidae
Subfamily: Phasianinae
Tribe: Tetraonini
Genus: Meleagris

Aka. Turkey.

Would you go as far as to say BIRD IS THE WORD?  Or is it only A word and not THE word per say?

Im thankful for all of you and to be alive.  I got hogwarts legacy on sale and so far its epic.

Happy thanskgiving.

Thanksgiving is different every year for me in terms of who I spend it with. This year we spent it with my wife's grandparents who are both really up there in age. We want to spend as much time with them since no one knows how much longer they'll be around despite both being in pretty good health for people in their 90s. I pretty much spent all day cooking and preparing for us going over there, so there wasn't much time for anything else. When we got there we pretty much ate, helped them put their Christmas tree up, and talked for a few hours before heading back home.

One thing that was radically different this year was my lack of any desire to do black friday shopping Thanksgiving night, or really even on the actual day tomorrow. There really isn't anything I need to have that's going on sale, or that I just really want. More power to me I guess, but in past years I typically had several places I wanted to hit up for electronics, video games, and anything else I happened to be after.

That sounds like a splendid and warm thanksgiving! Really special of you guys. Those memories carry.  I always love hearing these. My great grandmother made it to 99. She was about a week off from 100.  And we would do the same and try to make the moments count because tomorrow isnt promised at any age but especially 90+. Even at 98 she was spry and vibrant as a 50 yr old. It was amazing. She was a matriarch and when she left a piece of the family did too.  We would go to dinners at sit down restaraunts and help her with things like TV until she couldnt be fussed.  I do believe the warmth of family, my dad and her daughters. And looking forward to the next event is what kept her will up through all she endured.  And live so long.  Your day reminded me of her. Hope you enjoyed your day biking!

Any traditions you partake in like football, macys parade ect...?

As for black friday.  I used to do it every year with my brother. The chucking of elbows with large lumberjack men over a 40 dollar air fryer. The hysteria. The losing your position because you had to pee in the frozen rain.  I guess it lost its luster this year for me too lol.  And it certainly helps that almost every major deal is rolled out 2 weeks early now. And stays up until 4 days after.  So black "friday" has become all but black month lol.  Which I actually love.  I got silent hill from the comfort of my home. 30 dollars off.  The retailers oddly trade the panic buying to black friday for a more long winded sale now. I imagine it equals more sales and happier workers.
