Milestone has been reached on the "Missing front images" spreadsheet.

Total rows: 10,408
Percent completed: 50%
Percent replaced: 49.45%

Top 10 users who worked entries
2,300 - tripredacus
964 - dhaabi
579 - nathan776
289 - silverbow
272 - coffeejits
178 - theflea
122 - mark1982
103 - lokiperv
48 - axiomenterance
45 - empovyle

Only top 3 have access to the sheet, the rest are users who have just been doing work on the site. These values are only for items that have been checked, so some users may have actually contributed more but are not known about yet.

Images that I have processed (not all are missing front images) since February 21: 4,642

Finally, I encountered some sort of error with the list. 103016 should have been listed since it was missing front art while having back art, but it wasn't. I'm curious how many other entries failed to show up on the list for whatever reason, though it's probably a low number considering the first known instance is just now being reported.

I had encountered some entries that had (for whatever reason) the placeholder "No Art" image uploaded to the front image slot.

For those instances, there was still something submitted, though why that art would have been present at all is odd. When I went to approve the submitted art for 103016, there was no previous image data available to overwrite.

It is possible the front art on 103016 was removed manually by an admin/mod after the sheet was generated.

Milestone has been reached on the "Missing front images" spreadsheet.

It has been slow work since this update last summer, but a new milestone has been reached.

Percent completed: 75.08%
Percent replaced: 74.33%

Below are the top 10 members who've contributed to replacing lost front art:
2801 - tripredacus
1891 - dhaabi
990 - nathan776
421 - silverbow
348 - coffeejits
198 - theflea
140 - mark1982
118 - lokiperv
87 - lunanightmare
55 - axiomenterance

Some totals may not be accurate, as only the top three names listed (all with access to the edit queue) have access to the spreadsheet, though there are other staff who respond to the edit queue but do not have access to the sheet. So as I come across items listed on the sheet that have previously been approved post-data loss but have not had members' names added, I'm adding them.

About two months ago, I decided to stop going through entire categories replacing lost data which were mostly comprised of entries with neither front nor back art, meaning they weren't a part of the spreadsheet and instead diverted my focus to the spreadsheet proper. After over a year of having a browser tab of the list open, I'd like to finally be able to close it. But eventually, the work for those entries that aren't on this sheet will also need to be completed.

Thanks to everyone who's contributed help. There is still a lot more to do. By my estimates, only about half of all entries with lost image data have been replaced. Maybe less, even.

I need to work on that again.
