While I can't really take credit for this idea (someone else started a long-running topic like this on another site ages ago); I *like* it...and it works!

Basically, it would be a "Misc", "general", "open-discussion" kind of topic...

...so...

you/me/we don't need to start a new thread every time!

Talk about whatever...

- what you're playing,

- your husband, wife, g/f, b'f's annoying you,

- birthdays,

- Video game grading,

- upcoming items of interest,

- new gaming news/announcements,

- beginning/end of bad day rants,

- talk about yourself/where you're from/what you're like,

- questions, answers, topics, ideas, opinions, suggestions & recommendations about *anything* gaming/collecting-related (or not), etc, etc...

*Anything goes/It's all good here* -

"Attempts must be made, even when there can be no hope.
 The alternative is despair.
And betimes some wonder is wrought to redeem us"

It's my birthday today! The big two-seven. Plan to use my birthday cash to add some new games to my collection. On a side note, is it just me or are SNES games kinda pricey? I don't know, I guess I was expecting a $10-$15 price range but all the ones I've found on various used game sites have been $25-ish, sometimes more than that.

Thank you! Nope, Libra here. But, October babies FTW! I think after a certain age, no one wants to be bothered with purchasing an actual birthday present for you. Which is fine by me as I am thoroughly happy with these birthday cards filled with cash. Got my eye on a whole slew of PS1 games.

Which PS1 games are you thinking about?

- Alundra 1 & 2
- Dragon Warrior VII
- Koudelka
- Legend of Mana
- Lunar SSS & Lunar 2
- Myst
- Persona 1 & 2
- Rhapsody
- Riven
- Saga Frontier 1 & 2
- Tales of Destiny 1 & 2

Apparently I should give up the hope of ever owning Brigandine or Valkyrie Profile--my friend laughed when I said I wanted these games. Are they very rare?

Persona 1 & 2: Innocent Sin & Persona 2: Eternal Punishment maybe go for around $60, and so does Valkyrie Profile... They're excellent games but most have ports already made if you don't want to cough up that money...
Currently playing:
FFXIV (PC), The Witcher (PC), Monster Hunter World: Iceborne (PS4)

I still say that this thread will just become too overloaded with stuff to really be worthwhile but whatever makes you happy I guess.

It just seems like the stuff posted in here so far would be better suited to the Off Topic area.

True...but this would/could 'condense' a whole shit-load of random "off-topic" threads into just one.
