I have 2 mindsets with this guy. A) He sold me that blue and pink justifier set for less than $15, so sometimes he does it wrong and it's great. B) If I convince him to let me kind of run his game section, it won't be nearly as depressing.
I think he tried to word it in a manner that makes sense. Something along the lines that he has the time to do only so much, so he has to choose between spending a solid week or so pricing and testing all of the game stuff, or run the store. I think he worded it like, either I deal with stuff that can wait and appreciate in value, or I deal with the stuff that can't wait and will only depreciate in value. He seems to have control issues and doesn't trust anyone to do much of anything.
I had asked about some of the controllers and the employees said "Oh, those aren't priced, they must be broken or not for sale", then they sent me the owner and he said anything you can see has been tested and is for sale, if it hasn't been tested, it's in the back room. I don't know, it's a pretty broken set up.
Realistically, I'm not going to do anything for that guy. He'd probably pay me minimum wage, give me no discount, and not even let me have first dibs. So why bother?
