People can just be outright gross and dont care about the items they own which should be important especially if you are trying to sell to others. Makes one not want to do business with people like that again.

Tryin'a catch you buying dirty. Pictures and condition are so much more important to me now than price, on any given eBay listing. Most have a decent camera phone these days, and you can just tell when it's gross, or when it's beat up and had a rough life. A lot of times, unless a game has that gleaming reflection of light coming off of all aspects, I don't considering buying it. You see those odd little bumpy spots, wrinkles, and smudges of off color and the whole things just looks dull and not reflective at all... that's a no go. I'll pay the $8 to $12 more for the better one. And pay no mind to seller description either, cuz what "great" or "mint" means to me is something entirely different than what it means to them. Photos tell all. Except when they send you not the one that was in the photo, then it's a party.

Given it was recent and still fresh in my mind, I just wanted to mention it, but I, in all honesty, don't mind buying a lot of games in the condition I described. Mind you, there certainly is a limit, but as someone who likes to buy in bulk, oftentimes I'm in a position where I don't have a problem ignoring a dirty case or two, or a set of dirty cases to name an example. I have a spot where I always go whenever I get stuff in the mail with all the things I need to make whatever I get look fresh and clean.

I did reply. I just hate seeing it's not 100% anymore.

First thing to remember is that the feedback percentage shown on the profile is only for the past 365 days. You can shrink your negative % number by making purchases and getting feedback on those buys.

GameStop is in a really crap spot right now. Walk into that store, and you'd think nothing new has come out since March. They have literally nothing that's released on Switch since then, except Mario 3D All-Stars, and I'd imagine probably nothing new for Xbox or PS either in-store. I mean, their supply chain was bad before Covid, now it's non-existent. Wouldn't be surprised if they're not telling employees to go purchase 3D All-Stars at Walmart and resell it. Why not? That's why PlayNTrade use to tell their employees to do.

Even on their website, it's like half of the new games from this year are "not available to ship". All other retailers who sell video games still have stock of these, but not the game store. Go figure. I imagine they must tell most distributors they want maybe 3 copies of any niche game for the warehouse. Can't afford more than 3. Let Amazon have the rest.

My Gamestop is still well stocked on both games and collectibles. I guess it depends on the store. But yeah, the website is weird. Some games simply aren't listed. I couldn't find Batman: Return to Arkham on the website, but then found it in-store at Gamestop.

And Pzeke, I did contact the buyer. He agreed it was his mistake and said he would change the feedback, but never did. And I did say "Includes both discs, artwork, and case" in the description. Never said "map" or "CIB" or anything like that.

I know I wrote a lot, but did you even read my post? YOU must send the buyer a feedback revision request in order for the buyer to change the feedback. If the buyer doesn't want to cooperate, then contact customer support to get the feedback removed given it's against TOS for the reasons I already explained.

Oh lord, I'm RAGE buying again. Which of these 12 eBay sellers will deliver my goods in the shortest order? Day 2 after the ragening, and all but 2 have marked as shipped. Which will use first-class? Which will opt for snail mail? Who will cheat the system with media mail? Who will over-pack, and who will under-pack? Any pleasant, or nasty surprises? A matter of time and we shall see.

Why are you buying 12 copies of Rage for? Did it come out for 12 different systems? It's an 11-year old game and wasn't well received. Maybe you're getting Rage 1 AND 2?  :P

My poor attempt at humor aside, I'm kinda curious as to what rage buying entails. Are you angry at something and in order to deflate that anger you go on a buying spree? I'm plenty familiar with sprees which is why I try to stay off ebay and Amazon but I still have local places like GS/HPB to drain my wallet with.  :-*

I'm kinda curious as to what items made the cut for you to pull the trigger and purchase them.  8)

It sounds like a case of Retail Therapy. For sure, I get that. If it's not cured with video games, I cure it with new shoes.

Wait, your buyer simply left positive feedback saying what he said. You're making a fuss out of that? Your DSRs weren't even affected; you made it sound like he left you negative feedback and your world was ending.

Do you like bring called a liar on public feedback that everyone can see? Feedback that can affect your sales? Because I don't. Nothing but positive since 2004.

Hwhat?

Dude, you can call me a lair, an asshole, a dastard motherfucker, whatever tickles your fancy, I don't give a baboon's shiny red ass. The fact of the matter is your buyer left you positive feedback, with just a slight misunderstanding that you corrected by replying to it. Your feedback score was unaffected because the feedback you received was positive, and your DSRs were unscathed even, there are no defects to speak of—the feedback you were given is in no way damning to your business. The way you dramatized your situation made it seem like you were given negative feedback and your world was about to come crashing down. No such thing happened, and knowing that I have no qualms saying that you're making a mountain out of a molehill.

No harm was done to your account, you're in the clear.
