Thought you guys might get a kick out of this, I just finished it up.

One of my many hobbies is painting miniatures, I've been doing it for almost 20 years now. I used to only paint them up for my D&D games, but more recently I've gotten into doing modifications to them as well. A few months back I discovered a miniatures supplier that had etch brass signs for making war gaming terrain. One of them was a set of street signs... instantly I knew I had to do this.

Not my most detailed or difficult mod job. But here you go, No Passing Zone Gandalf.

The sign had the letters already etched on it. Plus the point of the joke is that it's a Do Not Pass street sign, haha.

I love it!

I used to paint fantasy miniatures years ago, really enjoyed doing it even if I'd end up cross-eyed trying to paint shine highlights on gems and things like that XD

Haha ya. My girlfriend doesn't understand how I have the patience to work on these things. But its pretty much my main artsy hobby anymore and I even started up a tiny blog about it  last year (it's in my sig), I slacked hard on adding to it though, cause I was doing it like progress reports. Now I'm holding off writing up anything until after the project is done and it seems to work a lot nicer.

Nice detailing/combination...  Gandalf makes a good crossing guard, although intimidating with his sword.
