I liked the 1st Scream movie. I didn't think it was scarey, but just kinda liked it for the cheese factor. The later ones on the other hand got progressively more and more "meh"

Wife snagged White house down from the Redbox. I figured it was going to be some weird movie. Turned out to be pretty badass and definitely worth watching.

If you liked that one, you will like Olympus has Fallen. More grounded in realism.

Any one seen "You're Next"
from what i hear, its similar to scream and if you don't like scream, you will not like you're next

Cool beans  ;)  We love all the Scream movies around here :)  Can't wait till January so I can pick up the blu ray for it  :)

Speak for yourself. I think those movies are a complete joke. Not horror at all. I don't see how people can possibly take these movies seriously, but I hear people talk about how "scary" they are all the time.

Yea there not scary but I think they are great movies.  The way the story is written and how each sequel follows each previous film.  It's just a great written and movie overall to me.  But yea not scary.  I think the only movie that actually scared me, would have been the very first time I watched paranormal activity.  My friend told me it was a true story when I first watched it so it freaked me out

nah i hate 3D.
i have a bad astigmatism in my left eye so i spend the whole movie seeing double and my eye trying to correct its focus.
the action in the movie was great. the acting was just a little too cheesy.
characters were a little too sterotypical

id have to disagree. pans labyrinth was an amazing movie. leave it that way and come up with something new.
too many movies get sequels and most of the time they are nowhere near as good as the first.(predator)

there is exceptions where the sequels are good movies but not quiet as good as the first. (die hard)
and there are some where they are just as good if not better (batman)
but for the most part when they were not originally planned they tarnish the first movie.

Whoa. Predator 2 and Predators are both excellent follow-ups to the original. If you want an example of bad follow-ups, look at The Crow or Robocop.

Yeah, but at the same time X2 is one of the best comic movies ever.
