While I favor certain genres, I do happen to be eclectic, so I have no bias towards any other genre, or at least try not to as long as what I'm listening to actually sounds good. Like almost everything else, though, music is subjective, so there's that. I personally listen to hip-hop on occasion, but my preference when it comes to the genre happens to be for the 80s/90s and maybe early 2000s. That is essentially the golden era, although I reckon people like Kendrick bring that "old school" vibe, and he actually happens to have good songs.
