My best deal was prolly a brand new Mega Man Legends 2, black label for $5. They were clearing out their PS1 games and it was in the bargain bin. I snagged it immediately.

After this auction ended: http://m.ebay.com/itm/151139423493 Ithink is now my best find and most valuable item in my collection.  I believe I picked it up for $6. It is a Panorama Popeye Game N Watch if you don't want to click the link.

I tried to sell it on ebay a number of years ago but no one bid on my starting price of $70.

So jealous. That game and DuckTales 2 are the top 2 games on my wishlist.

Thats with the box. Cardboard for the NES is stupidly expensive. Here is the VGPC listing for DT2 : http://videogames.pricecharting.com/game/nes/duck-tales-2

I don't need the box THAT badly.

On average I see auctions for the game (cartridge only) between $40 (on a good day) to $70.

So by that logic, the box by itself is worth $80 to $110?! Double the worth of the cartridge?!  :o

If you find one for $40, get me one.  I have it already, but that game is pricey.  $70 is a good price for it.  It gets over $100 regularly.

Ya I had no idea the MML2 was gonna be spendy. I was just on a big Mega Man kick back then. It sat sealed for a couple years until I finally opened it to play.

Boxes for NES games are beyond ridiculous. I really could see people spending over $100 just for that box. Ive seen people literally pay over 2000 just for the DK Jr math box.

I don't know how many times I've been bidding on that game on eBay, I'm at around $45-$50, and somebody out bids me the very last instant. (Cartridge only, of course)

I've never seen it under $90, even cartridge only.

Let me tell you about a game called Chubby Cherub... it's worth more than that CIB. And the cart is now worth like 30 bucks for some reason.

I guess 2 more deals I got were a CIB Simon's Quest in super clean condition bundled with Ghosts n Goblins, Maniac Mansion and a few other NES games for like $25. And my Mega Man Legends for PS1 for like $10.
