Just got an Email that its coming out for the Switch now.

The Bloodstained folks made it sounds like it wasn't entirely their decision, the wording made it sounds like Nintendo made it difficult for them to continue.  Possible that Nintendo plans to stop production of Wii U discs prior to 2018, which would make it very difficult (likely impossible) to make physical copies for Wii U.

I was able to get one though GS in-store yesterday, so you could try that. Regular in-store preorder so you don't have to worry about shipping.

Edit: scratch that. BF just messaged me to let me know that their in-store preorders are now sold out.
