A question about Tengen NES games
« on: July 29, 2014, 04:17:18 pm »
Should Tengen black cart games that are ONLY available as a black cart be listed as black cart in the description?

A couple examples on the site are After Burner and Toobin' which are both unavailable as a licensed cart but are listed with (Tengen Black Cart) in the description.

I want to change them but I want to make sure that it's okay before I submitted an edit and got rejected. There really needs to be a field for explaining why you make an edit when you do so so the admins can know what an edit is for.
My collection doesn't include my Steam or PSN games, just physical games.

Usually the ( ) is used for variants. So technically if it's the only version of the game, it wouldn't use the ( ) in the title. I think those ended up with (Tengen Black Cart) due to uniformity.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I created them all that way.  That was way back in the day though, before the style guide was even a thing.
