Of that list, I have seen Free, at least the first season, and it was okay, but don't have too much desire to continue into the second.

I have seen pretty much most of Death Note and just thought it was okay.

Gash Bell I remember seeing and not liking I believe.

Thought Log Horizon was pretty poor and stopped around episode 6 cause I just don't care about what is happening in it compared to Sword Art Online.

As of right now, I think I have a nice list of stuff to watch, though I am interested in more average life type stuff.  No supernatural or even fighting, just kinda regular times in Japan.  Could you pick out two or three like that perhaps?

SAO is pretty mediocre. I was def. on the hype train during the releases. I watched it over and over and i realize a lot of flaws that my delusion were covering up at first.

I guess this for now?
- NHK ni Youkoso!
- Seitokai Yakuindomo
- Usagi Drop
- Nichijou
- Hanasaku Iroha
- Mangaka-san to Assistant-san to The Animation - Same VA as Kirito. Its a really weird transition from Sao to this.
- OOPS can't forget Gin No Saji

Even if SAO isn't good as it seemed to be, I still liked it way more than Log Horizon lol And thanks, I think I got enough lined up for now to keep me busy for abit.

I still like SAO with all its flaw but other people on the hype train needs to stop worshiping it. I like Log Horizon. It wasn't that bad, it went with the more realistic VMMO which was cool.

Also I second Welcome to the NHK, and will recommend BTOOOM! similar base idea to the first part of SAO (stuck in the game and trying to get out) only stuck on a deserted island with the mechanics from a video game brought into the real world, with more survival and slight horror elements.

I just got generally pretty bored with it.  The mystery of why they might be trapped in it couldn't hold me.

And as I watch Aldnoah and like it, I feel like I don't enjoy how the mechs are called Kataphracts lol I understand now that it's meant as reference to a type of ancient warfare unit, but I just don't like the word for some reason lol Doesn't roll off the tongue to me.

Well Log Horizon is having a 2nd Season so I'm expecting an answer to our plot hole... maybe. Anime can only fit so much before you count it as "over pacing" then being too spread to be called "dragging". Its a harsh world for anime directors. Manga & LN are probably the more safe route.
The Mech name doesn't really bother me much, but that ED... aLieZ soooo goood.

BTOOM! is an alright show. It does get pretty dark in some moments. "When humans are faced with truly terrifying circumstances, they don't think about other people around them. They're even willing to sacrifice those around themselves. By exposing that unsightly part of them, they can no longer get along" (8MAN). Pretty much 99% of the btoomers in the show.

Caught up with Aldnoah, great stuff and just starting with Akame ga Kill.  It's this weird combination of humor and extreme violence you don't often see.  Like Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, but they aren't censoring too much here.  After the "WTF!" of the end, it has my attention.

And nearly caught up up with Akame ga Kill in just the night lol It's pretty good and it manages to keep the surprises coming pretty well.  Definitely a lot better than I was expecting.

Akame ge Kill is great, a must watch, will definitely keep up with it.

Dropped Glasslip cause I didn't care for the characters at all from the first episode and heard the bit of looking into the future doesn't amount to much at all.

Hanasaku Iroha I'm getting interested by, but man I feel bad for Ohana lol No father, terrible mother, grandmother doesn't like her, her co-worker REALLY doesn't like her for some reason...But I feel it'll make for a good story as she needs to try and overcome all of it.

Good, you dropped Glassslip. Akame ge kill will get better esp in the manga. Im glad you like hanasaka iroha. There is a movie for it too. N1s is also selling it as a special bluray edition for the movie.
