It wouldnt have deterred the resellers. They would just have started their auctions at $2000 instead.
Sucks cause there are a lot of people who legitimately wanted one and cant now cause of greedy people.
Agreed. IMO, they should have said "OK, we're taking preorders on this worldwide the weekend of the event only. After that we'll close preorders, make enough to cover those and that will be it." That would have given everyone who really wanted one an opportunity to get one while still making the console limited in the grand scheme of things.
But oh well. My black PS4 works just as well I suppose. I'll just hold out for a cool-looking faceplate (not really interested in the 2 they put up for sale this past weekend) and move on.
