Author Topic: I'm sick of the "Hover to toggle search bar" (Read 2005 times)

Can we change that to be a on/off toggle or ANYTHING that isn't the hover to show the search bar on our main collection page. This has been driving me crazy for a while now as my mouse usually slips down or I'll look at something and lose the search bar and it annoys me to no end.

I agree, the hover search bar is not a good design decision.

have an option to make it "stick".

As it is, it's quite annoying.

Interesting. Have the search bar perminently open with advance options drop down? I don't think that would work well with the amount of categories to choose from. It really does help having a whole page for the options.

Edit: On that note, more advance search options would be a neat addition. Search year range (by release date), developer, genre, etc.

When I use the site on my work laptop that search function always gets goofy.

Not just on a laptop... I make sure to type a detailed name on my desktop and the search bar goes away.
