GameCube fanatics
« on: July 24, 2015, 06:27:24 pm »
So I recently just hit the 90 mark for GameCube games and I know for sure there are at least a good handful of games I am missing.  I am looking to get another 30 games to fill my last empty shelf and am wondering what other games would you guys recommend me getting? You can check what I have by clicking on my signature.  Thanks to everyone who contributes. :)

Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance is a great game, if a little pricey though. Battalion Wars is another Nintendo game you might like. Second Sight is a fun hidden gem too.

Thanks everyone, didn't expect a whole lot of replies!  :D I probably will go for the majority of the ones being mentioned, just a shame that some go for a lot of money right now.  :-\

Impressive Gamecube collection.  :D
How big of a Pokemon fan are you?
Pokemon Colosseum and XD Gale of Darkness are fun and unique Pokemon Games.
Spider-Man & Spider-Man 2 are really solid Spider-Man games.
Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy is a fun action/platformer.
The Tak games are 3D platformmers with a fun sense of humor. Made by the same developer as Disney Infinity.
XIII- unconventional first-person shooter.
Killer7- Stylized shooter adventure.
Lost Kingdoms & Lost Kingdoms II- Card based RPG
P.N.03- Sci-Fi Devil May Cry
Geist- Ghost adventure thing, not sure really how to explain it.
Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg-Platformer. Sonic-ish

Hey, I'm a huge gamecube fan, its one of my favorite consoles. Here's some stuff that I reccomend:
Battle Stadium D.O.N. ( import)- Cool shonen fighting game devleoped by the guys being the Naruto gamecube/wii fighting games
Chaos Field- Shmup that's pretty decent and not too expensive. All you do is fight against bosses so its a bit simplistic.
Custom Robo- A cool arena fighter with robots. There's a lot of text to sit through in story mode, but I think the gameplay makes up for that.
Pool Paradise/Puyo Puyo Pop Fever- These puzzles games are cheap and surprisingly fun. Pool Paradise is the best pool game that I've played, Puyo Puyo Pop Fever is an extension of the Puyo Puyo series and is simple and fun.
Zoocube- A pretty quirky puzzle game that manages to be fun once you figure out the rotation system of the cube.

If you get a freeloader disc or mod your gamecube, you can play some imports which there are a decent amount of for gamecube. I can give you a more extensive list of those, if you're interested.

I'm going to echo a couple of suggestions here.

Pac-Man World 2: I've played a lot of this on the PS2. Really fun game, a totally legit platformer.

Puyo Pop Fever: I recently acquired a copy of Puyo Puyo Fever for PS2, which is the same game, just the one released in Japan (oddly enough it was translated into 5 different languages and even has English voice acting :o). I brought it over to my friends' house last weekend and we just about couldn't put it down. Decently fun to play 1-player as well.

I see Tales of Symphonia in your collection so all else is right with the world :)
