Vegas Stakes did have a second release but it was not "Player's Choice". The original release is the one with the logo for the Mouse, as it was released around the time of Mario paint. But then I read there is another release with an ESRB rating, released around the same time as other games got their Player's Choice versions with ESRB rating. This might be where the confusion is from.

Please put links to this Turtles game.

The only one I can find without the Mouse icon also has an ESRB rating.  So maybe that listing should be this one?

Cart has a different item number as well SNS-VS-USA-1

Also found a SNS-VS-CAN Canadian version, but that's neither here nor there.

Before it gets rejected.  I edited an item's category from SNES Accessory to Wii U accessory.

Hori Wireless Fighting Commander controller uses the Wii mote attachment port.  Same as a Wii U Classic controller or the SNES/NES classic controllers.  Cannot be connected to a SNES or SFC.

I feel like because we have a "Dedicated Console" section for the SNES/NES classic (among other things). We should also have an "Accessory" category to match, and these controllers would go in there. I don't think it fits in the Wii U accessory category...

It didn't get rejected.

But the Hori controller is branded for the Super Nintendo Classic... which there is no accessory section for. I think then technically it should be put into (the generic) Accessory category. Items like this are always a problem.

Branded for it yes, but it is made to work with the Wii and Wii U, using the Wiimote attachment port.  It makes more sense in Wii U Accessory than Generic Accessory.

If we had a Nintendo Other category, I wouldn't have any arguments putting it there.

It's an accessory made for a dedicated console, because that's what the NES and SNES classics are under right now. So we should have a "Dedicated Console Accessory" section made.

Do we even have a generic accessory section?  :o

That would be like me saying that we need to have Genesis controllers in the Atari 2600 category because they were "made to work" with the 2600. It should be placed with the console it was made for. Doesn't matter if it works with other consoles

Hmm no, I guess I was thinking of "Other"
it can be confusing sometimes to think there is a generic Accessory category because you can "see" one called such in a console section. I can't find it now, but some console accessory category shows up as "accessory" on the item page.

If I just search for something simple like "NES Controller" The heading above the item just reads "Accessory". Then when I actually click on the category name it changes to "NES/Famicom Accessory"

While I can agree with that sentiment, it is a different situation.  Genesis has an accessory category.  If I buy a controller for the Atari Flashback dedicated console, I would expect to file it under Atari 2600 because it works for the Atari 2600 even though it's branded for the Atari Flashback dedicated console.

On that same note I believe I have a controller that says "Works on Atari 2600 and Sega Genesis" on the box, what category would that go under?  It isn't right to put it under Generic Accessory because it DOES belong in both categories.  And it isn't necessarily right to put it exclusively in either category.  Do we put it in both based on where the user wants it in their collection?

We wouldn't put it in both. Put it in one or the other, or in the "other" which also has multi-platform items in it already.

Genesis controllers work on a 2600 and vice versa.

I feel like if you have a controller that is branded for both, the latest released console should take priority if you had to pick one. I can't imagine they would market a controller towards the 2600 and say "but wait! You can also play this on your Genesis" :P Even if they did, it just makes more sense to pick the later console.

Besides, the Fighting Commander Controller is only marketed to the SNES classic, not the Wii U or Wii at all. The NES classic extension cables have a very small blurb that they can be used with Wii or Wii U Pro Controllers, but that's it. It says "For NES Classic" right on the front of the box.

IMO it only makes sense to make a dedicated console "accessory" section under the dedicated console subheading for this, the NES classic controllers and extension cables, etc.
