It's mind boggling that someone who likes Atari 2600 games wouldn't like
Kaboom. It's one of the very few that's just as playable today as it was in the early '80s. The controls are perfect. A word of warning though, this game
sucks if you play it on anything other than the Atari 2600. All the modern compilation packs use the analog stick to move the buckets back and forth, but the real magic to this game is the 2600's paddle controller.
Other ones I really like are:
Crossbow - It's a port of the Exidy arcade game. Very good graphics, and especially good with the trackball controller
Oink! - A fast game of building your house to avoid the big bad wolf, who has laser eyes for some reason
Crackpots - You drop pots onto bugs trying to eat your house!
Warlords - Another arcade port, and the graphics aren't much to look at, but its multiplayer mode is awesome
