When do you consider a Mario Kart game "beat"
« on: February 13, 2018, 01:57:30 pm »
I've been playing Mario Kart 8 and was just wondering when everyone considers a Mario Kart game beat. I'm almost done with 50cc and about to move on to the next.

a) when the credits pop.
b) when you unlock all content.
c) when you're done with it.

Pick.  I generally go with a or b.

When it gets frustrating.  I usually get through 150cc, but mirror is a pain in the ass to me.

I think so.

Me personally, at least with Mario Kart Wii, I played until I unlocked everything and did all difficulties.  *shrug*

I think for the purpose of my 52 game challenge, ill just note when I beat each difficulty.

For the 52 game challenge, me personally, I would consider it under 1 of 2.

If I'm just playing multiplayer with folks, when I'm done it is "beat"

If I'm playing by myself, I'd consider it beat if the credits pop, but I'll probably work towards 100%, but if I abandon before 100%, it's still beat.

Imo, it's beat when you beat everything on one difficulty, but doing everything on every difficulty is the 100% completion

I'd consider winning all the cups to be beat, makes sense to me.

Usually when everything's unlocked. There's still things I haven't unlocked in Mario Kart 8 though.
