SWITCH

- Gekido Kintaro's Revenge

Lol gekido the gba game on switch.

what did they do to it. Only an upscale or also added content

Kinda interesting to see that the more niche gba games are getting switch ports.

I have the Digital Version and they actually did quite a lot to the Switch Version, was impressive. I even went back to my GBA version to see the differences.

They upscale and added a wide screen option. Re-Did all the cutscenes with cleaner animations, so basically animate whole thing out again. Plus gave the entire game new music, similar to the original score but re-done so it doesn't sound like a GBA game. Basic combat of the game is the same, which was pretty good to begin with imo.

They gave the options to revert back to the original if you want to, but the new additions are nice. Was impressed actually for a title so cheap.

that's pretty cool thanks for the info.

Really interesting to see some of the more niche titles being brought back from the grave with some updates.
Your Stylish Sword Master!

I haven't really been taking pics of stuff that I've been getting lately, mostly because I haven't been getting much lately.

After years of trying to find this game for a good price, and the price starting to jump up or at least look like it's going to start jumping up, I finally found a copy at around $20.

Soul Nomad (PS2)

I placed a bunch of import orders this month and this is what has come in so far (plus some stuff from Gamestop that was ordered new and of course came gutted.)

Sega Saturn and Playstation 2/5 scale model kits
Doctor Who The Edge of Time (PSVR)
Human Resource Machine Deluxe (NS)
Raging Loop Day One (NS)
Disgaea 4 Complete+ (NS)
Yumeutsustu Re Master Bundle Pack (NS)
Songbird Symphony (NS)

I've still got a bunch of stuff coming in and I'm about to place another order.

More stuff!

Turbografx Mini arrived, been playing this like crazy.  I look forward to the ModMyClassic team putting out a hack for it.

Paper Dolls (PSVR)
Groundhog Day (PSVR)
Autobahn Police Simulator 2 (PS4)
Trials of Mana (NS) [This is actually from GS's B2G1 deal on new and used games, rest of my order was for shipment.  Did Delivery@Door for this, which apparently GS already discontinued that program because when I got there, they told me that they aren't doing that anymore and allowing customers in the store so they are just doing regular old bullshit store pickup]
Brain Training (NS)
Get Even (X1)
Dreamfall Chapters (X1)
Blind (PSVR)
Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Don't Dry (NS)

Haven't been into collecting games as much as I've been really interested in figuring out how to get the ones i have looking their very best. Part of this was motivated by my recent youtube debut, but also I've been a lifelong user of composite to play my retro games and I finally decided enough is enough. I bought these a week ago off videogameperfection.com and they arrived this afternoon.

And here are some of the results of using these

Super Mario 64 via S-Video through Retrotink w/line doubling

Tekken Tag Tournament on PS2 via Component through Retrotink w/line doubling

Shenmue on Dreamcast via VGA through OSSC w/line doubling. This was by far the most HOLY CRAP THAT LOOKS AMAZING
game I've experimented with so far.

Marvel vs Capcom 2 on Dreamcast via VGA through w/line doubling.

And finally Smash Bros Melee using the GCHD MKII

I found a PS3 Naruto game at a Wal-Mart for around the same price. I can't remember if it was .03¢ or .07¢ but it definitely cost me less than a dime.  :P

Excellent haul as usual. I always look forward to seeing your posts.  ;D

I'm seeing people get their TG16 minis and I'm super jonesing to order one. I kinda went overboard on GameStop's B2G1F Memorial day sale (okay a LOT overboard) but I may have to put this on the CC before the next billing cycle.  :P
