Top 10 Backlog Games

The often buried, but never forgotten Top 10 Wishlist thread gave me idea of doing a Top 10 Backlog Games thread; think of it as a wishlist of games in your current backlog that you're wanting to play or planning to play above all others in your collection. Just like the Top 10 Wishlist thread feel free to cross out games you've played, update your lists once games have been played, beaten, abandoned or whatever, and start a new list when the time is right.

Here are mine right now:


1. The Legend of Zelda: Windwaker
2. Resident Evil 4 (Replaying after like 15-years)
3. The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (replaying this one)
4. Resident Evil 5
5. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2 (replaying after a long time)
6. Wing Commander
7. Donkey Kong Country 64
8. Final Fantasy VI
9. Xenogears
10. Silent Hill 2 (Replaying)

1. Octopath Traveller
2. TES V: Skyrim
3. The Witcher III
4. Final Fantasy VII (Replay, it's been more than 20 years)
5. The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening Remake
6. Baldur's Gate 1 + 2 (Technically a replay, but I never did complete 2)
7. Trials of Mana
8. Grandia
9. Civilization VI (I've played Vanilla, need to do a run with expansions)
10. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Started, but never completed)

Also in no particular order:

1. World of Final Fantasy (Started it on Vita, but after Lasik Surgery its hard to look at. Switching to PS4.)
2. Cosmic Star Heroine (Keep forgetting I own this.)
3. Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc (Started it years ago and probably will restart since I don't remember any of it.)
4. Final Fantasy Type-0 (Started it on XBONE, going to restart on PS4.)
5. Final Fantasy VIIR (Started it, but Trails of Cold Steel IV took precedence.)
6. Trails of Cold Steel IV (College and work took precedence)
7. Lunar: Silver Star Harmony (Watched my best friend beat this, but never have myself.)
8. Nights of Azure (I own both this and the sequel and have yet to play either.)
9. Valkyrie Chronicles Remastered (Own the PS3 version as well, never played either.)
10. South Park: The Fractured But Whole (Loved the first one and need to platinum it before starting this one. Was told it's hard to go back after playing the 2nd one.)

My list is likely more like top 50 in the backlog.

8. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2(started it but never fully finished)
9. Super Mario RPG(started via emulation on phone 2 years ago on vacation but never followed up after the vacation was over)
10. Metal Gear Solid V

 - Mass Effect Trilogy (PS4/5) - Picking it up this Friday. Woot!
 - AC Valhalla (PS5) - Only 15 hours in and I took a break. Not sure I'll get back to it but I need to.
 - Tomb Raider 2 (PS1) - Was once my favorite in the series
 - Tomb Raider Legend (PS2)
 - Tomb Raider Anniversary (PS2) - Was once my favorite in the series
 - Tomb Raider modern trilogy (PS4)
 - Comix Zone (Genesis)
 - Prince of Persia SoT (PS2)
 - Resident Evil Remake (PS4)

• Final Fantasy III (PSP version. I keep on starting it but can never fully commit)
