Some of you may know that I collect cards and one of the things I have been working on is trying to checklist cards that come with games. I am starting this based on what I currently have, although will one day want to expand this. I have decided that I want to be able to add a thread in the ID Forum for card releases as well, and wanted to make a public thread here for people to contribute if they would like. So you can post games that come with cards into here and we'll see if we can use that information in that upcoming ID thread.

At this time I do not want to deal with the cards that come with Limited Run Games releases.

Also currently not going to do anything with Amiibo cards but games mentioned are listed here:
- Pokken Tournament
- Mario Sports Superstars
- Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer

Games with non-standard "cards" that will not be included in this work:
- Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions
- Kingdom Hearts III
- Persona 4 Arena Ultimax
- Robotech Battlecry
- Road to Guangdong
- Tactics Ogre

PS: This thread is for exclusive cards, not games that just happen to come with "some" cards like R.B.I. Baseball '93 on Sega Genesis that just happens to come with some cards that were also available at retail.

The type of cards this thread covers are standard size cards that are the same size as typical trading cards or CCG/TCG cards.

I will check out all that was posted. I added some more to the three posts and used a blue glow on questions. It is interesting for all three of the R.B.I Baseball games that had cards, there are zero examples of the PS4 version having them. Perhaps they just never got them.

Almost every yugioh game came with a few promo cards. Many of these cards were exclusive and were only obtainable by buying the game (or at least were at the time), and some of them are getting very valuable

1. Kelly Slater Pro Surfer: put into the (pending) post since I need a picture of the back. This card is not on TCDB yet.

2. Flipping Death: put into the (pending) post. Found 3 "sides" but unknown if there are only 2 cards with 1 same picture on back, or if there are multiple combinations. Also not certain about the card dimensions (will be needed to add it to TCDB). It appears to be larger than a standard card, but I do not have a Switch cart to determine it myself. If anyone has one of the cards from this game, if you can measure the longest edge for me in inches that would be helpful.

3. Mega Man X Command Mission done. Submitted corrections to TCDB regarding set names for all of the Mega Man gaming sets that relate to this card. They were using single word title as "MegaMan" such as we used to do before we switched to common names. They already (basically) use common names, but they are more in tune with sports than the gaming cards.

4. Star Trek Armada done. There may be an error on TCDB since they have this in a 1995 set and the card might get moved to another set OR a year range will be added to existing set name. Either way, the link should still work to the card if the card is moved out of the current set. Found UK, DE and IT releases on Mobygames, so those game entries were added. The German cover mentions that the card is in English, but the Italian cover doesn't although I didn't translate the text. There seems to only be 1 card and that the EU games came with the US card as well.

Besides what has been mentioned already in this thread, other things on my list that haven't been mentioned are Japanese Sega Saturn games. I already have a list of those games.

While tidying up PlayStation 2 [NA], I just happened to come across another instance. A lenticular card was included in Robotech: Battlecry - Limited Edition. A glimpse of the card can be seen here.

The Flipping Death card measures 4.5 x 3.3125 inches. If it helps, I own the Regan and Harold / Vacation Death card from the NA version.

Edit: In Road to Guangdong, two recipe cards are included. Despite their name, they are more like laminated cutouts, so I'm not sure if these are really classified as cards (although the Flipping Death example leads me to believe that these are okay too.) The Road to Guangdong card dimensions are 5.875 x 3.25 inches.

If you need scans for either the Flipping Death or Road to Guangdong cards, I can provide them.

There are several versions of Kingdom Hearts III which were exclusive to Walmart that include three cards. 1, 2, 3, 4

Edit: Here is what I found after a quick sweep of searching for "card":
A set of tarot cards is included in a version of Persona 4 Arena Ultimax.
A set of tarot cards is included in a version of Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together.
A limited edition CCG card is included in a version of Naruto: Clash of Ninja 2.
An art card is bundled in a version of Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions.
A trading card is included in a two versions of Cubix: Robots for Everyone: Race 'N Robots. I'm unsure if this card was available at retail. Here is more information.

Edit: I've been aware of the Pirate Pimp for some time after having found a large community of Xbox collectors on Instagram, but I was not aware of their website. The entire website is a great resource in general, but I can't find website information about the NBA Ballers trading card variant that is mentioned on their Instagram profile.
