Do any of you folks use gameplay trackers

I was recently informed about play trackers and have started using them.  A lot of them seem primarily geared towards Steam but a lot of them have support for consoles.

I've been checking out https://www.playtracker.net, https://completionist.me/, and https://metagamerscore.com/

Playtracker does quarterly quests where if you earn 7 of the goals you get a steam key for a specific game, this past challenge got you Escape Simulator, which is kinda neat.  The other ones just provide a form of global achievement tracking, it's all really neat.

I recently made accounts for HowLongToBeat and PSNProfiles, which see to be similar to the example sites you showed. PSNProfiles is mostly nice due to its overall easier accessibility, and I only use HowLongToBeat for backlog and completion purposes. I don't interact with the playtime options, but I've relied on them for a number of years even before making an account.

Some aspects of PlayTracker seem interesting, but I imagine their being behind a paywall limits greater user registration. That their About page directs you to a 404 isn't reassuring either. For all three sites, their overall design isn't that great, in my opinion.

Did you end up making an account for any of them?

I have accounts with all 3.  Playtracker should be free, I didnt pay for it.  That said playtracker just released their 2.0 version of the website two days ago and they are still migrating and testing the new features.

I also use psnprofiles, but i have primarily used exophase instead because it is multiplatform.  I am ignition365 on all platforms applicable

Pretty much the main one I use is https://www.trueachievements.com They focus on Xbox/Windows achievements but do have sister sites for PSN and Steam. The main idea of the site is that while games give the same base amount of gamerscore, games are not equal in how hard they are to complete. So, achievements tracked on there have their score boosted based off an inverse proportion of how many people have earned it, so the more rare the achievement is, the more it's worth. This means that a quick completion like Avatar: The Burning Earth gets an adjusted value of 1,013, whereas a game that takes more effort to complete like Hades would have a score of 2,458. It's not a perfect system, as people can still bulk up with easy titles (especially in the era of 1000G title updates) and some games from Game Pass or Games with Gold wind up with higher than normal ratios from all the people who try for free than shelve it after a few minutes, but it makes me still feel a bit prouder of some of the games I've completed.

I used to use xboxachievements.com and playstationtrophies.org but their community was incredibly toxic to newbies  (2011-2012) and once I found the alternatives I never really went back. I will check their guides once and awhile but those sites have become a shell of what they once were.

I know those are more achievement/trophy tracking, and say, PS3 games without trophies aren't even listed on psnp or truetreophies (Though truesteam does have games without achievements there....weird) I really find them useful.

I'm personally not much of a trophy guy. if it's something outside the game I just ignore it.

Plus for my taste hunting achievements can make a game less fun especially if it's completionists geared not my cup of tea But I get the appeal for it.

Oh I'm so far from a completionist, lol. I just play my games, but it is a lot of fun to keep track of. I rarely let it dictate the way I play (I'll do some online stuff I normally woul;dn't if it's not a pain or a time sink)

I don't. I only use Steam itself for whatever their achievements are. As far as a backlog goes, I have a ginormous text file with my backlog on it that I move stuff around in and then whatever is next is next.

I use Exophase and PSNProfiles. The former because it's the only site I've found so far that lets you link to RetroAchievements alongside all your other accounts. It also tracks your hours played and lets you manually edit them if needed which is so amazing imo. 
 
PSNProfiles used to be my daily go-to but I've been moving away from it slowly, mostly because I don't get on my PS3/4 as much as I used to and also because I found the community a bit harsh/elitist... dunno if that's changed at all lately. I'll definitely still use the guides there, they are absolutely invaluable. I wish Exophase had a larger userbase so the statistics were more accurate, but that will come with time.

I'm not so much into Trophies anymore - Ever since they changed the system figures it put me off. I have over 10000+ now and it just doesn't do much for me. Especially as most dwindle down to generic collectables which bore me.

I do sometimes check Howlongtobeat beat when deciding what to play next, sometimes I want a 5-10 hour experience so that comes in handy for checking out info on games timescales.

Hmm, metagamerscore is interesting since you can link your MMO accounts and whatnot, but the interface seems pretty confusing. It's got the old-nostalgic-forum-feel to it which I haven't seen in probably a decade     
Just signed up and linked everything. It will probably take a day or two to get used to the interface but so far I like it! Hope it picks up some traction.

Edit: I forgot about HowLongToBeat. Great website. I use that for almost every single new game I start playing, although I haven't actually submitted any data to it yet. I also used to use GameFAQs for their difficulty, time to beat, and overall rating trackers which I did submit for a few times, but that site definitely isn't as active as it once was.

For EOL/retro PC operating systems I use an old version of Launchbox for organizing and Gametime Tracker for time tracking.

I only use Backloggery, and so far it has worked for me; however, I'm not particularly fond of their intended changes. The whole aesthetic they're going for is reminiscent of some of the websites you mentioned. I know it's still in beta, but it looks bland.
