Preordered Mario Kart World at a game store, and decided to do some retro shopping while I was at it.

In case you're wondering: the DS game is based on a Dutch-Belgian teenage tv series that was massively popular in the mid-to-late 2000s (or, well, this one is based on its spinoff continuation, but still). Glad to own Ninjabread Man, the classic "worst Wii game of all time" (it's not, that's Studio 100 Speeleiland if you ask me, but still). I actually had 1080° Snowboarding in my house when I was a little little kid, so it's really neat to own it again. Scaler looked like a fun 3D platformer on YouTube, and I've been curious about EyeToy: AntiGrav ever since I saw it in Caddicarus's EyeToy video on YouTube. Glad to add all of these to my shelf!

I ended up putting an order in for Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered (PS5) via Limited Run Games. Says it should get to me in late October, so fingers crossed.

Just discovered the physical editions of this are available to preorder on Amazon and will be shipping in mid-Sept. No shipping and a month earlier? Yeah. Cancelled the LRG order and preordered from Amazon.

With those games, i finally got all the Master System (31) and Mega Drive (20) games from my childhood again. Ecco, Running Battle and Shadow Dancer were the three missing ones

06/06/2025: Mario Kart World (Nintendo Switch 2 eShop)

I probably either got scammed or made a fantastic deal when for 150€ i bought a Playstation 4 Pro 1 TB with a controller and 12 games (Uncharted - Nathan Drake Trilogy, Uncharted 4, Uncharted: the Lost Legacy, Call of Duty: Vanguard, Star Wars: Squadrons, Days Gone, Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3, Resident Evil Village, The Last of Us Remastered and The Last of Us 2) from ebay. The seller seems to sell of basically all his game systems at surprisingly low prices since he doesn't care about it anymore.

In anticipation of it, i also bought L.A. Noire Remastered, NHL 22, FIFA 21 Champions Edition, Bloodborne and Gran Turismo 7

Also bought Race Driver Grid and WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2009 (Steelbook Edition) for Xbox 360
